Hello from Lowell Michigan with an Ada address. The name is John and I have been lurking on this website for years but recently decided to really put the hammer down on rebuilding my pole barn. She is an awesome 24x48 pole barn that will never be big enough but she is mine. I have gotten some great ideas on the forums so thought I would start documenting my work and maybe help someone else out. This barn is going to be part of my side hustle for my wife and myself. We will be doing some welding, and side work out of it while working our regular jobs. Before that can happen we need to fix a lot of things and I think I have opened Pandora's box.......Many new things are ordered and on their way, let the fun begin!!!!

Before I decided that winters in Florida were better than in Michigan, I lived south of you. I was off M43/M89. I like the countryside around that part of Michigan, some topography, lots of lakes, and good bike-riding.

I went to high school literally down the street from here:

Remember, from your lurking, we always like pictures, lots of pictures! Be safe in your work.

I live close to many gravel backroads, and that's where I love to bicycle. So quiet and lots of countrysides to see. I never visited the Gilmore Museum yet but need to. I was an engineer down in Auburn Indiana for a time, that museum was impressive.

If I still lived in the area, I would volunteer at the Gilmore Auto Museum to work on the cars. It's a great place to visit, and they have many events that are worth the trip. They continually have things going-on there. Definitely a place you want to bookmark and to visit from time to time to see what's happening.

If you never spent time cycling around Gull Lake, that's a good place to go, plenty of topographical changes, lots of scenic views of the lake, and plenty of places to stop and to enjoy the views, or to get refreshments.
