POR-15 should hold up.
That's what I was considering, if anything. I might try as an experiment to see how it works. Thx.

How do GJ members recognize each other at estate sales?
By the Alliance Member tags riveted to their foreheads?![]()
I did get a $5 organizer tray with some stuff in it, and 24 tools from the 2 for a buck wrench pile.

I don't even really know what all I got, but I'll be OK with it in the morning.
Oh, and if anyone recognizes the funny tray with handles on the ends, I now have 2 and not sure what they come from.

I know there was a Camp Elliot, but there must be many other possible meanings.
$5 for both.

Its an Atlas made Craftsman" 6 X 18. (I already have a 109 Craftsman 6 X 12, and an atlas/Craftsman 12X36 fully tooled)

Some great scores going to this weekend! Good going guys!
VERY slow day for numbers of sales, and mostly the sale that were were out there were rotten. I only bought anything at the first and the last...
the first had these two bins and one had a few screws (metric I think); the other was empty. One had metal dividers, the other plastic.$5 for both.

The LAST stop had a bunch of stuff from this guy;s fathers shop He knew nothing about tools but the father had a wood work shop.
This stand caught my eye right away. Not sure yet what tool the top plate holds, (band saw maybe?) but I knew it was coming home if not stupidly priced:

then I saw this:

Looked it over and the guy came over and mentioned his dads wood working, and I commented this lathe was for metal but could be used for wood. He comes out with a $10 price and I think a minute (I had not been planing on buying it...) and said "I'll take it - What do you want for the stand?" Another ten.
Both motors are Westinghouse 1726 1/2 HP (and 115V so pretty old); the one on the stand seems to run fine. The one on the lathe needs a new cord its not even fully hooked up...

Nice haul! I only found one Snap-on socket today. I like the Visegrip box. I found the same one some time back.Don - nice looking roller. Edit: Nevada was good to that box.
Flea pics cont.:
Pics 1-2- mainly Snap On stuff. 1/2 breaker and extension, screwdrivers, ratchet screwdriver, sockets, 3/8 in 1/4 body ratchet.
Blue point, Mac, Matco Snap On wrenches. 2 Mac screwdrivers.
Pic 3 - part of a BMW kit
Pics 4-7 some neat little finds. Vise Grip with box, Proto Los Angeles 4 incher for the collection, Plomb short dbe, Little Plomb screwdriver, Proto flat blade socket, little Ford wrench, Channelock adjustable, curved Robinson adjustable.
All cleaned up with new power cord. Just needs new stones.
Here's a Pro Tip - If you change the light bulb and the lamp still doesn't work, don't immediately tear into it, pull the old wiring, drive to the hardware store to get the right size spade connectors, cut up a perfectly good extension cord and rewire the lamp only to have it still not work. Just wait a few seconds after you turn it on. Apparently, the larger grinders need to get up to speed before the light comes on. /smh

That black box looks almost identical to the one I picked up yesterdayWent to several garage sales today. Most of them were a bust tool wise, but two panned out. The first one had a Craftsman tool box, two small metal boxes, and two small tackle boxes for $6. One tackle box had some tackle in it, but I haven't gone through it yet. Also picked up a full spool of barbed wire for $10. One of the antique stores I frequent had a Baker Hand Made hatchet for $8. The last garage sale had 19 files for $20; and a set of calipers, Tumico square, two Stanley line levels, Stanley bevel gauge and a small hammer and pry bar combo for $20.

Outlawmws, that stand is for the 4 3/8" jointer planer.

Close, but more likely hr 4-1/8" I would not have expected that as it only has the 3 mounting holes on the tool plate. Certainly the outlines fit the 4-1/8 better than my guesses.
