I really need a 23 mm crowfoot wrench. This seems to be as rare as a purple unicorn. Can’t readily find it in town. Snap on truck can order it but it will probably take half a week. 15/16 is fairly close. 23mm is .9055 and 15/16 is .9375. I’m wondering if I bought a 15/16 crowfoot would it work. The flats on the fitting are steel. I’m torquing a quick connect air coupler with steel flats into an aluminum air distribution manifold per manufacturer specs. Who the hell thought 23mm was a great idea and also so difficult to find. Thanks for the help.

15/16 is about 24mm, it may try to round over once it tightens up. If you have a spare 22mm file the jaws until it fits maybe?

40nm is specd. So just under 30 ftlb.

Made from decent metal, I'd guess you'll be fine. How impossible is it to get to? If you round it can you still hit another set of flats when the correct size shows up?

22 with a grinder seems like it might be best for you if you're that worried. Amazon prime has a proto for 30.

If you really wanted a real 23mm tomorrow, your Snap On dealer can get it overnighted, but expect to pay the shipping.
