My 12" quick square disappeared a while ago (too many subs on the job) and every search has turned up "no longer available". I have the smaller version, but I liked the large one. I'd be willing to purchase a used one from someone who would be willing to part with his/hers. Thanks for any help.

That tool is discontinued. Search for Stanley 46-053. I believe it is smaller, but performs the same functions.

Pretty sure HD has both a fixed fence and an adjustable version as you pictured. Fixed version maybe plastic only but I have seen metal perhaps at other hardware stores. Adjustable fence version metal only at the HD.

Guys, please read my post. I have the small square. I'm looking for the 12" version with the adjustable fence. The last link casmurbax posted is the one, except it's $220.51 !!! I think I paid about $30 for mine.

That's still the small one, they do come up on eBay if you look at the sold listings, search Stanlet 46-052 and you will see them, but the sell for a good amount used. You just missed one brand new that sold for $20 on 6/27.

That one is the 12" size. How big were they made?
Never mind I see it is a smaller size. I am looking at it on my phone and it is hard to see it.

Ugh. Subs who steal. I've lost so many tools when I worked in Los Angeles to the Mex subs.

Then you were doing something wrong. All of the immigrant sub I used in SoCal where incredibly respectful and hard working. Maybe I was lucky?

Now the Americans would steal you blind, cut corners, and would spend half the day complaining because I used "Mexican" contractors. To this day it ticks me off. Good luck finding an American rough carpenter or landscaper in SoCal.

I appreciate everyone's efforts, but I am NOT looking for the Stanley #46-053 square. That's the small one I already own.

Just watch e-bay. You know the model number and eight of them have been sold since April, so chances are another will pop up soon.

Toolfool, I struck out at one lumber yard. I really thought they would have had one, but they have really been cleaning out old stock from the shelves.
