Anyone want to help me on what these boxes might be worth?

Snap On

Looks rough and I think he's asking way too much since I saw a nicer one for sale on here last month for half the price. No real details on the box either. Asking $800

Matco MB-555

Looks nice but I don't know anything about it. Seller says "its like new with just a few scratches. It is 52" tall, 26 1/2 wide and 18" deep. Also asking $800

Not sure I want either of them really but they might be worth a look

I think Blacknwhitepit has the prices pretty good, maybe a little less for the Snap On based on the condition (looks a little rough).

I had the same snappy box. Thought it was a POS. It was in better shape and I had to sit on it for 2 months to get $600. That was in CT also in better times.
I agree $400-450ish

Id love to have that matco box, but would have a hard time giving anywhere near $800 bucks unless it was loaded with some tools.

The Matco one is my favorite. I'd like the SO if it were in better shape.

I think I'll email an offer to the seller. Can yall give me and idea on the age of the Matco?

I've sold a number of those S-o boxes in the last couple of years, and have gotten anywhere from $600 to $1300. But I would not want one in ratty condition if I were going to use it myself. And this is far from my favorite style box.

As for the Matco, it looks in pretty good shape for its age, but still also a bit high on the price. Again, you need to buy what you like, but to me, these old style boxes just don't do it. I'd go for a little more money and look for a KRL series box.

I've Been looking at used snap on boxes but most are asking too much.

I agree that these are too high and I would never pay this much for these boxes but if I can get them down on the price I might pick up the Matco
