Yes, that's how that offer works, and how a lot of the big-points-back offers have worked for the last several months. (The Kmart one we were just talking about is another example.) They're trying to keep you coming back more, spending OOP overage each time.

well i guess its just an added "benefit" but was just hoping I could use all those reward points to buy another tool cart or chest. But I can't even find a tool cart that will match that blue, so might as well get the HF one I guess

Yeah, it's no good for another large purchase at Sears. The good news is those HF tool carts are quite nice, and you can get $30 off. :) I like blue too, good choice.

Also, this today: "I realized most of my toiletries are now only offered through Target, where I cannot use my points. I just made a points purchase [of these items at Kmart] two months ago, so I know it happened in that time frame. Big brands and popular products - Old Spice, Biotrue, Oral-B, Listerine - all no longer sold from KMart."
Is this online or in store or both ?
I notice they had Right Guard 2 weeks ago.

I have no Kmart, so just my attempt to interpret the scattered reports/comments about this: It may just be that those items are now unavailable for online ordering while still being in stores, but the suspected reason for making them unavailable for ordering when still on the shelves in the store is that the ability to replenish those shelves is further deteriorating (i.e. if your Kmart still has them, they might not be getting more as often or at all, so wanted to reserve them for in-store shoppers). It may vary regionally as well.

For Monday, I won the 11am $1, though only $0.75 total from all the other games.

Did some quick searches on Kmart.com.

Got nothing for Biotrue or Listerine that's sold by Kmart, but did get some results for Old Spice and Oral-B.

I'm not feeling very compelled by anything I'm finding in the right price range to use the $4 off $25 on with $10 OOP today, like I'd been considering trying to do... looking like I may just let this one go. But if any of you feel differently, reminder that today is the expiration for both this week's not-so-great Sweeps Weekly $4 off $25 offer, and the $10 back on $10+ OOP in-vehicle pickup promo.

@Hexen - REALLY appreciate the reminder  Agree that the deal is not so great, but I got some expiring points to use.

I am in the middle of vacation and completely lost track of time/day. I just saw this post after I got back in my hotel room. Fired up my laptop real quick, and pick something from my list. Also after ordering, I just realize we drove the car (instead of the trusty Land Cruiser). I hope what I bought (see below) will fit in the trunk :lol_hitti

I ordered this Craftsman 165104500 4-Tine D-Handle Digging Fork
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-4-tine-d-handle-digging-fork/p-07183517000P. I will pass this Sears on the way home, and hopefully they have it ready for pickup at that time. I really wished I am closer to one of these 'real' Sears stores. There are so many things that I can not get from the hometown Sears but available in 'real' Sears.

Great. If it's in stock at that store, it should be ready for you some time Wednesday morning. Specs say it should be about 38 inches long all together.

Man, 1 penny shy of free shipping (if you paid full price). That's one of the few Craftsman garden tools I don't have, as I have another tined fork, and never have caught it on sale. It felt solid to me when I picked up in store. I haven't seen nearly as many sales or higher dollar amounts off the Craftsman fiberglass tools in the last 6-8 months. They use to drop to around $20 pretty regularly.

Probably a lot safer to do store pickup for something that long, thin, and pointy... seems like the kind of thing a Sears store would have a really hard time packing decently for ship-to-home. ;)

Another disappointing Wednesday for me, but it was partly my fault this time, a job took much more time than expected so I only had time for less than half of the games.

Xtra was broken for most people for several hours this afternoon 7/12. The lucky few who still could get it to work apparently had much better odds than usual, for a while.

It was back to normal by some time before I was able to get back on around 7:45pm CT, in time for me to lose at both the 7-8pm and 7-9pm games. ;)

I picked this up on my way home today. Managed to fit this in the trunk, and did not punch holes into our stuffs and suitcases in the process :bounce: As expected, made in China and the quality seems good.

I am lucky that my wife let me make stops at Sears to pick up my orders during our vacation! I am back now to my routine again. Except a few times playing the Xtra and bonus games, I took a break from playing SYW while we are out of town.

Wow, lucky. :) I had another nowhere-near-finishing day, and very little luck in the games I did get through. Maybe my luck will improve on Friday the 13th.

I had trouble with Xtra like everyone else, but it would sometimes let me thru to play a game. That must be how I won the $5 WW. :shocking:

These days, winning on the $1 or $2 games is a good week for me.

There is another poorly executed promotion from Sears right now. If you checkout using Masterpass for a purchase $25, you are supposed to get $25 back. Only place to find the promo is at checkout. Scroll down past the redeem points box (I usually never use anything else, so surprised I saw), and it should be in colored text. I searched around, and found that they are honoring it, but is usually requiring a screen shot of the offer to be sent to info@shopyourway. Calling in appears to have a <50% chance of the rep knowing what you are talking about. This is also stacking with the $125 points back on $125.

If you have a KMart nearby (I don't), I just received a text "Spend $40+ in store, get $20 CASHBACK in points!" Check your text messages for similar.

The banner on the Kmart site, says "Spend $60 sitewide..." I couldn't find the offer details, but thinking it's only online.

Still nobody has had the misbegotten Masterpass promo actually work, but from SD discussions, the SYW support reps (who hadn't even heard of it for the first several days it was up) seem to be gradually converging on a consensus of how it's supposed to work (and thus under what conditions they will manually apply the points): only once per customer, spending at least $25 OOP (presumably pre-tax OOP) through Masterpass. Some people have managed to convince the SYW support reps to do it on smaller-OOP orders, but it's luck of the draw on getting one willing to do that, and increasingly unlikely as they get better informed about it. Only calling SYW (not calling Sears, and not chatting with Sears [edit: one person said they got it via chat, but that's rare]) seems to get you to someone willing/able to give the points for this, despite the offer being on the Sears website's checkout page. If you try it, be prepared for a long time on the phone, at least 30 minutes.

The link on my text was just to the local Kmart ad. While my link works, I don’t see how you need it to get the Cashback?
