I can't wait for them to find the tool box! Surely it will be of epic proportions.

One thing though is how can you lay claim to coo when there are no makers' marks?

- The toolbox didn't make it, the drawer slides couldn't hold up as they didn't have ball bearings because the ball hadn't been invented yet.
- They were found in China and probably made by a "Craftsman".

And I quote;

Since there aren't hominin fossils alongside Shangchen's tools, nobody knows for sure who made them.

Come on, everybody knows you don't bury the dead bodies of pissed off customers at the return counter....gezz

If they were bought at Uncle Mao's Dollar Store, their 90 minute warranty is definitely up.

You know, those tools are clearly outdated and broken. Tell ya what, out of the goodness of my heart *I'll honor the warranty* and replace them with brand spanking new Craftsman from Lowes. No no...no need to thank me. Glad I can help! :D

Pretty amazing article, btw.

They look like rocks to me.

No sh1t. Who's going to stop an excavation because you saw those?

If I'm digging and hit something that turns out to look like that gigantic head in the "13 Pictures Capture Wonder of Archaeology" NatGeo slideshow in that article, then, yeah, I'd probably notice it might be important (lol), but calling those couple pieces of rubble millions of years old tools makes me wonder if they are just nuts or trying to scam some extra funding or something.
