2018 Lowe's deals/sales/clearance thread

Here a number of Bosch items, some are duplicates of above. Remembered I took some pics the other day and got sidetracked.

After comparing to the Lowes site, it looks like many if these items are cheaper in-store. The two $90 items are $99 if I buy them online, and the pricing says it is good til 7/17. So the 10% off today, brings it back inline with the store.

As a general contractor, I really don't care if I buy them at full price or sale price. I take many trips to the home center stores and if I find the time I share the post. I try to share but I am not glue to the internet all day.

I order 2 because I needed to complete an order to meet a certain amount. I got them on Thursday, open the package yesterday evening. Little things like this I tend to forget. Over the years people say the same thing and others just stop posting. If I had more time to be online I would post more deals, but when you have a business to run and a family to take care of, I think it is obvious what will come first. This is why whenever I post deals, I always say not sure if this has been posted, because I don't have the time to sit back and read all the posts. Also, I don't think price change unless people wanted to order a case or more to re-sell and now they can't get it shipped.

Going forward no comments will be said.

Be aware that GE Silicone is NOT paintable...

Dang was wondering about that. I was going to reseal some trim around my garage door, windows, and patio cover. It is all painted white anyway but should I caulk it first then repaint the trim or repaint and then caulk?

BTW the store called and said they couldnt find them but would transfer to a different store if I wanted. Said it would be the same price. Got the pickup email this morning for them!

It probably wouldn't matter... From the one time I made the mistake of using non-paintable basically paint just wouldn't stick to it. If anything a little dot might stay there but if you are doing white on white I doubt you would see anything.
