Sorry to hear that Tim!
LOVE the Death Raygun!
Wall earned suckage on the big torque wrench & Wilton!
I had a good day today! Lots of pics and a couple of stories!
First stop was an Estate sale and when they said "no early birds!" they meant it!
There were 5 guys waiting at the side walk when I got there, and a few more were added in the ten mint it took to get to 8:00. I'm thinking "Man It's going to be a free for all.."
I'm also expecting to have to fight for anything...
When the lady came out and thanked us for waiting, and said it was 8:00, everyone moved forward and I got the he tool tray while everyone else went inside the house and a couple into the garage. Looked things over and took the whole tray. I added a few things to it as I went through the garage, including a craftsman/Atlas table saw fence and sliding miter from the same Tsaw I'm working on. The miter is the original with the Long C. I was hoping the fence was for the 10" and be longer than mine but its the same 8" model. I'l go back later and may get the saw... I had hardly ANY competition and those that were in the garage were not getting stuff I wanted!
So the tray and the Tsaw parts (they didn't realise the Tsaw even sued these as its was covered with a wood top...

)
And a light German Army jacket with hood. Lots of pockets and even has the underarm zippered vents to avoid overheating. I like it! It'a 80% BaumWolle, (cotten) and 20 poly.
$20 all!
second YS had these :
From the left: Indestro, Bonnt driver and wrench, General ruler, Craftsman DBE, Barcallo, Proto, Little Giant (hand ot have it I have a tiny BP hammer from them, nothing else) and a Williams, plus a mixed bag of punches. $9
Whiel getting ready to pat the older guy approaches me and asks if I like to buy tools. I say sure!
"Where are you going after this?"
"Another yard sale"
"Well I have a bunch of tools on my bench an garage that i want to get rid of. I live just down the street..."
The long and short of it was I followed him home and cherry picked his stuff a few weeks before his planned garage sale!
I set the price, he accepted, told me I had to, for that price, take a SS bottle opener, (he had a stack) and even told me to pick one more tool to boot!
Stanly#4 Baily, adn craftsman planes, a spole shave, Channel lock pliers (the "Extra" tool), 2 small pliers, two tiny C clamps, Heller Masterench 6" pipe wrench, 4" Merritool, adjustable, a couple of hand burrs, anf the SS bottle opener
The it was off to a neighborhood annual block sale, 10-15 streets, a couple of houses on each..) Where I got this Floor lamp for free!
The base is also lit, and the stone (agate?) glows, and light shows under it.
More to come later, but I got an errand to run!
