Fed Ex "ground" trucks and routes are independently owned by driver. That is why they may deliver on Sat. or even Sunday. I have heard that Fed Ex ground is cheaper than UPS.

Mike, I have had VERY good luck with FedEx. USPS seems to be hit and miss out here as well. I know FedEx is cheaper than UPS as well (by a good amount), and as of yet I have not had a package damaged from them.

As far as the tool storage. I may be interested in your offer. I know you and I discussed it once before a few years ago. If you email me with a list of what you can get and the price you are offering (with shipping if able) I will see if it will work for me. I will also have a list of other tools Id like, some Im sure you have stocked but some you may not. Ill look forward to hearing from you.

i missed this earlier, but ill jump in now.

i recieved the box from mike, i ordered a bunch of 1/4 drive sockets, accessories, and a ratchet. when i opened the box i found all the usual stuff, plus 3 xraftsman ratches. after asking my roommate if she put them in there as a christmas gift, and calling Mike, the best guess was they ended up there in shipping. i looked at the box again and realized it looked like this:

so my best guess is that the box ripped open and someone slid these in there on accident. i tried to return them to the post office, but they just told me merry christmas and sent me on my way.

mike im find with using USPS flat rate boxes, but i think some old newspaper or packing peanuts would help to keep the tools in place so they cant build up any momentum when they fall and land.

Its a definite must to keep Momentum to a Minninum, Ive shipped alot of stuff using USPS flat rate boxes and its obvious that the boxes arent the best quality. If you dont fill with peanuts or Newspaper its gonna spell bad news for the transaction. I started buying my packing tape by the carton account i was using so much.

Mike,

one thing I want to ask, why you didn't put prices on your website? for me, and many others who shop online, "call for price" is a big turnoff, it's an equivalent of "don't bother". it's just a hassle for the buyers.

anyhoo, please quote me for the following:
GAAA1003 stubby wrench set
GAAQ1104 1/2dr. socket set, short
GAAG0803 3/8dr. torx bit set
ANAB1208 3/8dr. torq wrench ftlb
AAAP2224 long box wrench

thanks
