I think you are priced a bit high as well as just not having someone near you that is interested
I have a similar one in black that I got for $750. I have seen several sell for the $1000 to $1200 range.

Yeah , thats crazy. It sold new 2yrs ago for over $4300 with the cover. I thought it would hold its value a little better than that!

it is unfortunate
there are a couple of reasons
1 the economy. all used toolboxes have dropped in value
2 that box is decent but is not top of the line. I have one and for the $750 I paid I am happy enough. if I paid $4000 for one I would be very disappointed.

the one I bought is black, I would rather have a red one.

if you were near me and asking $1000, it would already be gone

Thats what they are new off the truck. I will just keep it before I lose that much money on it. I am open to offers . I am also looking for a MAC roll cart with multiple drawers and the sliding tops if anyone has one.

keep it, and make it your other tool box, and now you have to fill it up with more tools.

in other words, you now have an excuse to buy more tools.

Craigslist is littered with big name brand tool boxes. They just aren't doing the money. It won't get better so you might have to decide what it's really worth to you.

I've been shopping /keeping an eye open for the right box at the right price to come along. I had planned a year ago to spend up to $7K, but am thrilled that I waited. The bottom has fallen out of the used box market. I think because so many dealerships have closed, along with higher unemployment. Here are a couple of prices that I have run across in the SO market. Hope this can shed light on the current market. (Note: the New England states seem to still bring a premium over the rest of the country. FL, AZ, TX have pay people to take them).
