Liftmaster should seriously consider making an offer on the Garage Journal forum! lol This has got to be their biggest word-of-mouth advertising EVER.

I have two brand new 3800s sitting in my livingroom floor, and I have had one on the 16ft shop door for months. Great openers!

Awesome build! With the can lights it looks like a showroom inside. Look forward to more pics with everything moved in. Maybe some shots of that Lightning under the lights!

more updates

This is actually the first real project I did in the garage. I made my own base boards out of a single sheet of 18ga stainless steel.
The first one going on.

You did an awesome job ac5150, as cyclopsblown34 said it is almost too nice to be a workshop ... It sure is nice to have room. Thanks for sharing.

Last weekend was move in day. FINALLY.
Still have to move in the quad, and the lift should be here next week, hopefully. Then I just need to decide on cabinetry.

Sweet garage! Tidy, clean lines, lots of space and well lit...Nice! BTW the Mustang seems very out of place in your garage. I mean it clashes with almost everything else you have. It will, however, perfectly compliment my current build which will be ready to receive the 'Stang in about 2-3 weeks.

Please advise as to how you would like for me to have it picked up. Obviously, I will make sure the shipper will be accommodating in regards to your work schedule.

Thanks. :)

Absolutely beautiful! Its so nice and clean, that most probably I would not do any work in there, just sit and look my cars:)

Nice build too, however its pretty weird to see, that you quys in California can pour directly to the ground. No winters, no problems!

Beautiful cars too!

holy F'in jeez!!! you dont play around when you decide to get toys huh!! did you build up the old skool chopper?

The boat is a Ski Centurion, but you are right, Sanger makes a boat with a nearly identical paint scheme

That's a sweet lift! What's the lift capacity?

The lift has an 8,000 lb capacity

I am new to the forum and I have gotten some great ideas from reading this, my very first thread on garage forum. I doing research to build a new 24 X 36 shop (in addition to my three stall garage that I currently have). I will keep surfing the site to see what tidbits I can pick up prior to going to my architect. Thanks.

Nice Build!!!!!!

By the looks of your roofline you're not going to be able to get a vehicle too far off the ground.

Geez I have to stop looking at these pics:) I just finished a 2 1/2 car garage that gave me enough room for my car, my Road King and my wife's Mini Cooper and will leave me enough room for some cabinets, a workbench and a small area to sit and have a beer (my truck still sleeps outside)......then I see this build and realize "I NEED MORE SPACE" ....

.....fantastic build ac......and some nice toys:beer:

Quite a garage. Jeez, it's cheapening it by calling it a garage. Quite the man cave/museum. I know you'll enjoy it. BTW, where's the beer fridge?

Hey ac
How much room do you have between the walls and the truck front and rear. Looking to build one 32' wide. just wondering is that big enough?

Great looking garage, ac. I really like your idea of the garage door on the slanted tracks to gain space under the lift. The 2 doors in my shop block some lighting when they're fully open and your idea can fix that by having the doors lift up above those suspended lights. Now I need to find a garage door company to install some 3800 openers and help me make it happen.
Thanks the good idea.

Looks good! Are the can lights bright enough? Any shadows?

I'd worry about that too. Also, if the doors are up and you are working out there at night, all the cans by the garage doors are blocked by the garage doors. I have this problem in my current garage. I will be doing industrial roll up doors so that will not be an issue.

Nice garage though!

Sweet man. what cabinets did you decide on?
the cabinets are just standard Craftsman Professional Series

Need some blinds on the windows! Don't need any peeping Tom's scoping out your stuff! :spit:
The blinds are on the way, just not here yet.

Can you give us the low down on your bobber? That place is beautiful!!
The bobber is a Triumph '69 TR6 motor in a '72 Tiger frame. Most parts on the bike are original Triumph parts from different years. There are a few trick one off pieces on it though.

I haven't measured, but I have plenty of room. i would even have enough room for a work bench behind it if I wanted.

There is plenty of light in there. There are 40 - 65 watt lights in there. I could always upgrade to 75 watt if I wanted to, but I don't think I ever will. I haven't done a ton of work in the garage, but what I have done, I haven't ever needed extra light. I recently changed the ****** pan and dipstick on the mustang. While the car was up on the lift, I never had any problems seeing while I worked under it. I didn't even have to use a drop light. I have been extremely happy with the lighting so far.
