Hey guys, been lurking for a while getting some great organizational ideas and tool recommendations and figured I should contribute as well. Anyways I bought my parent's place at the beginning of the year and am working on getting the shop cleaned up and organized, which isn't the easiest to do with ongoing projects and tons of leftovers from my father, but it's getting there. Next step is to clean up and do something with the shelves and items on them. Anyways enjoy the pics. The shop is 80 x 40 with a 10k lift, full bath with shower, 3 phase in one section, gun/reloading room with AC and mess of other things.

Ready made and already filled with the stuff everyone else has to "collect"! Sounds and looks fantastic; especially the family history part. Congrats, welcome and thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys. I'm in the Austin area. I've definitely done my fair share of contributing tools to the shop.

Holy cow! That is a big shop and it sounds like it is set up pretty well to start with. Do you have any specific plans? Nice space man!

Yes I do. I want to get rid of the shelving on the back wall and have about 40 ft of the back wall all cabinets and a couple workbenches in it too. I also am going to get an atv sized scissor lift table, I work on lots of smaller but heavy equipment as wells as atvs. Out side on both sides of it now is just gravel with enough parking for 6 trailers, I'm gonna add concrete pads on both sides, add a large carport cover or something similar on one side to store the boat under and also put a 4 post lift that is rated for at least 16k pounds, so I can work on my companies trucks at home too. Other than that nothing too major.

I'd like to see a picture of the reloading room.
I'll take some Thursday when I get home, just a heads up it's not as cool as it used to be, My father took his two 1050s to his new house.

Love the Larue poster! Mark is hands down my favorite guy to buy gun stuff from.

Yes, same here. Plus LaRue is about 5 min from my house!!
