I see HD is listing the 9.0ah 2-pack and 4-pack, but not available in store or online.

Anyone know if they were actually available for a limited time, or is this just preemptive listing for when they become available?

A single 9.0ah is available for order, but the 2-pack and 4-pack are significantly cheaper per-battery, as currently priced.

I am so happy with this thing.
Look it up on youtube.
It doesn't hesitate to pick up a 2x4 10 inches long sitting right next to a spider and a penny that also disappears.
So quiet
Almost self driven
Floats across the floor
The brushes reach under cabinet edges by about half an inch.
Battery lasts long long time
Has a great headlight
A kick switch.
Stands on end and takes up little floor space when stored.
So nice.

Only complaint
It gets static micro dust all over the body of it. Looks fifteen years old.

Haven’t actually seen the 9.0 in the wild yet. I have seen two-packs of the 6.0 for $119 as I reported earlier in this thread. Wanted to pick them up, but money.

Quick bump, anyone have access to the Australian stuff? I notice they carry a few more tools and they also have Ryobi cabinets out now.
Here is a link to our Bunnings stores, they are the Australian distributors of all Ryobi products.
https://www.bunnings.com.au/our-range/brands/r/ryobi-one- Its a pity they have this to themselves as there is no competition so they can control the prices. I have a large range of the slime green and the older blue models all still working well.
They do sell some tools that are not yet sold in the US and yet I see the same in the US, stores that sell tools that we dont see in Australia.
If there is anything specific that your looking at let me know (here or in a PM) and I will try and find some more information for you.

Just ordered a 2pk of the 9.0ah batteries. I've been using Ryobi cordless stuff since the ol' blue days when NiCad batteries were all the rage. I recently upgraded to a brushless saw, sawzall and hammer drill and wow, amazing performance upgrades !! It'll be neat to see the difference these 9.0ah batteries make on the brushless stuff. The 7 1/4" saw is pretty amazing with a Diablo tracking point blade and a 4.0ah battery so the 9.0ah will be something to bow down too. :lol_hitti

The two pack of 9.0's came to me a few days ago and I've been using them for a few days now. Both have each went through a full charge/discharge cycle twice. One was used in my circular saw and the other a combination of sawzall, impact and hammer drill. I have DeWalt 20v and some 60v stuff in my work van so I compared the 60v saw to the Ryobi with the 9ah battery. Cutting 2x6's I couldn't stall the DeWalt and had to work at it a bit to stall the Ryobi. With a 4ah battery it would stall about halfway though every time. Using the sawzall I noticed it seemed to take more pressure to bog the saw down. I don't know if it cut that much faster but it seemed to have quite a bit more power. $159 on HomeDepot's website. All in it was around $170 shipped with tax ... worth every penny !!!

I haven't bought any green tools yet, but my dad has been expanding his Ryobi collection. I tried out his new Ryobi One+ air compressor today, it's pretty nice. Much quieter than I expected, easy to carry, and perfect for trim nailers.

Wow! Didn't know they added this to the lineup. I've been looking to get the cordless pinner but this is a lot better. Now I can use all my existing air powered nail guns!

What is the cheapest price point the 16 gauge nailer ever went for with battery?

Scored some new toys the other day. The jigsaw is much improved over the old version.

My 18 gage brad nailed started acting up, not always putting out nails. Couldn't figure out why it was hanging up. Thought I'd try a quick hose down of the nail carriage with some WD40. Wa-La, works flawlessly! I'll probably switch to using some SuperLube spray for future use. Just wanted to give a heads-up to any others who might wind up in this predicament.

I just picked up the new Air Cannon. Almost exactly what I've been waiting for. Wish it was in red, and had One-Key, & made for more humid environments . That said, this is well built with a metal housing around the blade, very easy to adjust the angle, and quiet.

Using a 4ah battery, I got ~1:40 on high/3. On medium/2 setting, I am at 2:45 so far, but had to pause testing.

With this release, I have a feeling Milwaukee will announce something similar next month at NPS19.

Ryobi Days @HD starts end of this week I believe.

16th. Yet my HD tonight had the full display up with the word free plastered all over the place, and only the main battery kit & a hedge trimmer stocked. Only 20+ empty spots or so. Unless it kicks in early, I don't know why they put up a display 2/3 days early

How about an update on the performance of this please?

Works great. Has taken off lug nuts with ease. Same with any exhaust work I’ve done. I had the Craftsman C3 version of this (didn’t have the 3 speed selector switch though) and it also did great. Decided to sell the C3 stuff off because of the way Sears was going. Have never looked back. I bought the impact wrench with 4ah battery, charger and bag when it was a special buy at $99. Great deal.

I just got the cordless nailers, 18 and 15. In the beggining my coworkers were laughing, now they are borrowing them all the time.
A guy from another company came to check them out, he has the Milwaukee version, (which is the one I originally wanted becayse i have all from them), his didnt shoot in certain angles and didn't really sink any nails in an angle, that is an 18g.
Bottom line, im happy with my ryobi guns, and i dont need to be hauling a dang compressor

That was the only thing I felt needed added to the collection as well. This sale wasn't a great one for the "free" tools.

Ive picked up 9 different tools so far during Ryobi Days. Debating on a few others but so far I'm pleased. I already got most of their brushless offerings during other sales last year.

Is that a decent vac ?

Yes, surprisingly. Seems to run pretty long on the 4.0 too. Does a great job on carpet as well as tile.

Separately, I used a HD gift card on some more green power. LED is awesome. Grinder, we won't know til November when I get home and through a wire wheel on it. For how cheap they are, if it works it works.

Thanks.

Hopefully between now and Christmas they start to give out some good deals on Ryobi stuff.

I wonder. Apparently Ryobi days are fairly common -- I recall seeing them in HD shortly after my bday this summer (late May). It was buy $99 kit (2 3.0s, charger, bag) and get a free tool (lots of options). I almost got it w/ a 2 gal sprayer...if it was around now I would, and probably will if it's an option later on. Could use a few more batteries. Planning on leaving the sawzall in my truck, along with maybe the 1/2 impact I'd probably opt for w/ the deal.

I'm glad I finally branched out, b/c things like the stick vac I've wanted for sometime now, but still aren't available from DeWalt...and I really didn't want to get into Makita. For seemingly nice tools (I've been using this bluetooth radio almost constantly since getting it...Champaign's 92.1 is a bangin' station) for how cheap they are, I really can't complain. If I ever had a tool store I'd try to get them as the cheap, but vast, alternative to red and yellow & black.

A 2-pack of 4.0Ah batteries for $99 seems to be the new normal - if not in stores, at least online with free ship-to-store.

It looks like that was 2 for $79 this past Black Friday (2018), so potential for that deal to come back.

I bought a pair of 6.0Ah batteries for $119 a year ago during some online sale. That appears to be the going price for a single 6.0Ah today.

The 9.0Ah batteries are $139/each regular price, and there was a sale on a 2-pack for $199 some time ago.

I'm hoping this year's Black Friday sale has some deals on the 9.0Ah batteries.

I've been using this bluetooth radio almost constantly since getting it...

I LOVE my P746 stereo:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-1...-Wireless-Technology-Tool-Only-P746/205999646

I love the hybrid nature of it - I've got it corded to the wall most of the time, and an iPhone cable plugged into it's USB port. Any time I'm in the shop, my phone is plugged into it (for charging) and it's Bluetooth sync'd with Pandora running.

Ah,
I run my DeWalt toughsystem in the shop, and use Bluetooth like you, although I normally keep the phone in my pocket. As long as you don't get deep inside metal, it can handle the 80 feet.

The Ryobi I picked up is the smaller, $40 bluetooth radio (although I got it at the same pawnshop I got the vac at, with some other stuff). Seems to run forever on a 1.3 even, and does better than my small bluetooth speaker, which is what I primarily envisioned using it for. Generally I'd just run spotify on the computer but it's nice to find some new tunes.

Here's my latest. I ran the power washer about 4 hours straight the first day, it ran like a champ and the pressure was good. It needs to be on a rolly cart though, maybe I can make one out of a milk crate and some spare casters. The inflator works great too. I had to choose between the M12 inflator and this one, but 18v & the price of the Ryobi sealed the deal. I topped off all four of my son's truck tires and the battery didn't go down one bar.

I'm also enjoying the LED workbench light. Thing is a lot brighter than you might guess from the rating...wow
