I would sure be all over that Sidewinder saw if it were clearanced here.
What I don't really understand is that these toolsI just purchased above, I found by stock number but even though it's clearly discounted it does NOT show up in 'clearance'. How are you guys *finding* these deals?

I went to the store a few times and have seen things (my stores right now are a mad house of stuff getting clearanced), but I also just look for stuff I might want and look for the green clearance discount line on the website.

Yeah, I went there a lot over the weekend due to my compressor piping, and a looked each trip at the clearance (mostly OPE stuff).
I did see that within the last hour, the Kobalt box has now dropped to 162
Maybe they're just delayed about getting it done?
I'll be waiting for that Sidewinder saw deal...

I got online and purchased the #877530 3M headphones on sale for 10.50 from my local store (5 in stock) but they cancelled when they couldn't locate them. I've been watching that item at various area Lowes and i'm amazed by the fluidity in the prices for one SKU; it just seems odd given computer inventory systems etc. the other four stores within a 50 mi radius have had the item just randomly priced at 22;44;55;59 dollars over the last week, no two with matching prices. Today one store (the next nearest for me) changed them to 12.00 so I bought them again. Now I'll get to see if *they* can find them(!)

The Lowe's CEO recently said he wanted to cut the # of skus in the store by like 20%. He apparently is following through with that, and quite quickly.

I saw this new Craftsman toolbox was already marked down to $30. What, 3-4 weeks on the shelf maybe?
