I've been researching cures for my unfinished concrete garage flooring. I'm tired of tracking concrete dust into my boat and truck! I was thinking about Swisstrax, but I have concerns when parking the boat, the torque involved in getting it into it's spot is more than likely to twist the Swisstrax and become a problem. So my question to you guy's is, what other alternatives should I look at? Don't want to break the bank, don't care about it being pretty. I just want to eliminate the dust issue!

How about applying a sealer / densifier?

Jim

This.

It's probably not dust from the concrete itself as much as it is dirt that is sticking to the open pores in the concrete and being tracked everywhere.

i have Swisstrax and love them. The only problem i've ever had was one time pulling into the garage i dropped the clutch too aggressive in my Vette and launched the end piece some feet which i semi broke. I had an extra replacement so no big deal. I will say it gets annoying though when i spill oil or other fluids and i can't clean it up, and it stays there until it dries.

Don't ask.
IMO a common sealer will help. Easy to do, not overly expensive and available at most retailers.
Check out the flooring section of this forum, the discussions of different options are frequent.
