Suggestions Wanted For Stubby Wrench Racks

I desperately want to organize my stubby wrenches. Unfortunately Ernst, Protoco (my personal favorite), Snap-on, SK, etc. seem to only offer 5, 7, 10, or 11 slot racks.

For a set of 8mm to 19mm wrenches, I would need 12 slots. So far Tekton is the only company I have found that offers a 12 slot rack. Are there any others out there? Do any of you have experience with the Tekton racks?

(To keep this discussion on point, I am not interested in using two separate rails side by side, and I cannot use a combination of two shorter racks since the slots start small and get progressively larger.)

I have several sets of Ernst racks and I have a few sets from Tekton that I got with wrench sets, they are identical as far as I can tell. I am pretty sure that Ernst makes them for Tekton.

I bought an S-K rack for a set of stubby SAE Gearwrenches. Later, when I acquired metric ones, best price I could find on a rack was Tekton. Both work quite well.

I wonder why Ernst would make a 12 slot wrench organizer for Tekton but not offer one themselves. :headscrat

I just discovered that Matco once offered (not sure if they still do) a 12 slot stubby wrench rack. The part number is 7SWR12PC. Any ideas who made (or still makes) it?

I be inclined use the 2 part wrench rails and once got layout perfect for your stubby set bond them to alloy flat plate or plastic cut to right size/shape .
As the 2pc racks hold 20 wrenches you can set your wrenches in best size position slots and trim spares either end .

I just purchased one from Ernst and I can tell you that it's nothing like the ones I have from Tekton. The materials are different, the ones from Tekton being flexible, the one from Ernst is a much more rigid plastic. Also the slots themselves are completely different. The slots on the Tekton organizer are deeper which keeps the wrenches more secure. The slots from Ernst are shallow and allow the wrenches to move around during travel which usually results in a few that fall completely out of the organizer.

I have a couple Ernst gripper style racks for stubbys, not sure on the number of slots off hand.

I was in the same boat recently and purchased the 12 slot Tekton for metric and the 11 slot Ernst for SAE. They are basically identical but one of them has two small mounting holes in the back. They are in the back left of the pics behind the main sets. I was waiting for the Ernst reverse racks for the front right when these pics we're taken.

Thank you to everyone who responded. I found a deal on a pair of the Tekton racks, so I purchased them. They should be arriving sometime next week. I will report back here with my thoughts on them.
