Hey I have given up trying to figure out what this wrench is. I now open this up to all the great tool minds out there. I guess its some type of spindle nut wrench or axle wrench. No markings other that the numbers 16Ab 2117 and the letter L on the handle of the wrench. Maybe a buggy wrench? Just dont know. The six sided wrench end is 2 1/8 inches in size. Approx 10 1/4 inches long. For an older wrench it is finished well with no mold or forging lines.
It's all yours now..

Don’t ask how I ran across this because I couldn’t even tell you. I was looking for something else. Found the second link first, (Click on auction title for auction listing and description of wrenches)

Seems to have something to do with Timken. The first link has Timken on the wrench.

First link does show some similar looking wrenches, but the second link doesn't work for me.

i just went through several of their auctions and most have them marked Timken. The one I recently saw is similar but not exact and had it marked after market wrench.

It's 935-1 here.
