I get the weekly emails and in the email I see the $9 off $9 freecash, but if I click it, it just takes me to the Sears homepage. I have never been able to get these freecash deals that show up in my email inbox...

I open the email, click the 'shop now' button under the freecash surprise points offer, and click the link to play the game (and lose). By the time I've done all those things, I reload Sears.com and the offer shows up in my account.

Do all your family members live in the same area? I'm starting to suspect some of these skips (weeks when some people who've been playing the games regularly don't get the Sweeps Weekly email) might be regional. Like, maybe your nearest stores have had some marginal uptick in sales in the past week so they're less desperate to get people in your area to buy stuff this week? Dunno.

Ya, same area. Use the same store for pickups. Use have 2, but that was years ago now. That makes sense too, as one person only signed up this year, so doesn't seem account based. I kept on having them order 8lb Espoma fertilizer bags with the freecash offers. After PM, it was only a couple dollars of points.
Great way to convert quickly expiring points to a year. Purchase first, then PM within the day.

So I ended up needing chatting again, as I decided I wanted the set of Cman 4-ton Jack Stands (found out they are 3" shorter than my Omegas, which is quite helpful). Anywho, the $7 in points I was waiting for, would get me over $17.20, which after a $4 off $20 coupon, it would be perfect. Alas, it was after 11:30 EST, when the chat closes.
Seems like tanget but... After playing Xtra games on two devices the other day, I noticed the game time left was based off the devices clock. The Xtra game on one device had 2+ minutes more time to play, not really, as it started 2min late, but you get it. So I rolled back my PC's clock to before 11:30, and voila, the chat was available again.

Here is another error/bonus I stumbled across on Sears checkout. I shared this privately a little, but with the end seeming nearer & nearer, maybe more can take advantage & less chance of them closing it up.
This is for when you receive a freecash offer in store for a future set of dates, $x off $x or more. If you use it online, you can actually double the offer. If you add an items sold from Sears, and items from Kmart, it will take off the offer amount from each company's items. As it is a coupon, your end total still needs to be >$35 for free shipping, but many Kmart items can be picked up at Sears as many of us know.

That works with the most of the dual store coupons in my experience.

Trust me, I have clicked links from different PCs, phone, different web browsers, etc. I can never get the freecash offer to show up.
Dunno what else to tell you, that's how it's been working for the rest of us.
I guess just be glad if they're still letting you get points from playing the games, since it seems like not allowing you activate Sweeps Weekly offers would go hand-in-hand with getting blocked from Sweeps entirely.2manytools

I beleive ya, two weeks in a row that happened to me. I forwarded the email on the 2nd one (it was for $8 so semi-significant) to [email protected] & explained that the offer in the email is not appearing. They ended up crediting $8 to my account as base points. Previous to that, and after they have all worked fine. No idea what the fluke was.

Did you have adequate items to purchase in your cart? Sometimes FreeCash only shows in the Cart if you have the correct items in your cart.
Today I won 3 $1s: 10am, 11am, and 1pm. Not much luck the rest of the day.
But my not-so-hot chat rep who got an order placed for the 6" Pliers Wrench gave me more regular points to make up for her not managing to activate my $9 off $9 offer, so now maybe I can order something else before that offer expires tomorrow.

Made in Germany too I believe, or another European country, at least the blades are. Figured I'd get one in store with a $5 off for >5min pickup coupon sometime, but I also have a Stanley Fatmax handle that takes sawzall & hackzall blades, sort of similar. Thanks for the reminder on those though. The blades are priced right, for small amounts of expring points

Personally, I've never had to disable my security software (like an ad blocker), but maybe you can try that before opening the email. It could also be the email service provider's security, which might be preventing the email from sending the signal to SYW that the email was opened by the member.

I would say that sounds like the most likely explanation. Hexen mentioned about not being able to spin Bonus or either Xtra when on certain hotspots, as ad software was flagging one of their servers. I know when I had that problem a few weeks ago, that wasn't the case, but with Sears anything is possible (aside from profitability).
I noticed yesterday I was at this local McD to grab a quick bite to eat. When using their free wifi, bonus works fine, but Xtra would not work for whatever reason. It just gives a blank page. I guess it must be blocked.

I have a similar problem. I think that their wifi wants you to log in through the app or something. I can never use my phone when sitting in the drive through unless I disable wifi.
With most large businesses' free WiFi, you have to activate their WiFi after connecting to it, by opening your phone's browser to a non-HTTPS webpage, which will then get redirected to their 'I agree to the terms of your free WiFi' page. (The non-HTTPS thing is a problem because so many webpages, including google.com, now force you onto HTTPS. I've been using http://www.whatsmyip.org/ for that since Google made that change a year or two ago.)
Until you've activated the WiFi by agreeing to the terms or whatnot, you won't be able to do anything else online without shutting off your phone's WiFi and going back to cellular data. Once you have agreed to the WiFi terms, the internet will work both in your browser and in any apps you want to use such as Win It, except if the server trying to be accessed is one that is blocked by that WiFi. I don't remember which businesses I've run into that at with Xtra, but it happens with some businesses but not all. I think it happens at the businesses that use AT&T's WiFi service, which includes McDonald's and Starbucks among others, which matches up with 7avalon7's experience.
I know Xtra does work on WiFi at Sears, Barnes & Noble, and Panera. Pretty sure it works at Target also. I've probably used (or tried) it at some other places that I don't recall the results of too.

Unfortunately they no longer offer the variety pack of German mini blades, just the pack where all 3 are the same TPI, but I'll take it. I'd had a feeling some of the chat reps would give trouble trying to use a coupon, so I didn't try price-matching on my first Knipex order a few weeks ago because I was using a coupon ($5 off $35 Tools from RMN), and knew it would drop to about the same price as Amazon once the next 10% off day came around and I could price-protect it then instead. (That was the 5in model; the 6in has a much higher price at Sears, too far out of line for the 10% to cover the difference, thus slogging through price-matching on the 6in last night.)
It has been awhile for me since I have done SYWR. Frankly I ran out of free things to get at Sears, imagine that. Trying to get back in before the ship sinks.

When you've played all the regular spins for the day in any one Xtra game, a different set of buttons will appear for that game, that lets you enter the code for an extra spin.
