Hey guys, getting ready to prep my new construction garage floor for epoxy. Wondering if I can just grind the floor or if I'd need to acid etch as well after grinding. I had to patch some cracks and there's some dips I want to smooth out. Plus a lot drywall mud and some mortar, so I rather just grind it and go. I did spill a little pud of gas a month ago if it matters. Tia

Use a vacuum when you grind. Don’t get the grinder with removable blocks.

I was planning on using a floor buffer and dimabrush attachment from HD. Not worried about dust, I have a full face respirator and garage is empty.
