Came across this unused jcPenney set. Not sure of year as I am not that familiar with their stuff. All pieces marked jcpenney and made in usa.

Nice find. Some if their sets had the sockets and others did not. They were made by SK.

just for fun, you should take it to a JC Penny's and ask to replace it under warranty.

Nice find. Those are great tools. Penney's used to sell a full line of tools, storage, cabinets, wood working equipment, etc..

I have some JCP tools from when I was a kid that were my dads tools. They were equivalent to Craftsmen in their day IMHO.
