Anyone use the new DeWalt 20v brushless angle grinder?

Seems to be quite unknown from what I can find online. I'm trying to decide between it and the M18 fuel angle grinder, but seems like nobody knows about it.

I have the DCG413 if that’s the one you’re asking about. Works great, lots of power but tough on batteries as I’m sure most cordless grinders are. It doesn’t bother me as I have many 5.0ah and Flexvolt batteries and I’m usually just using it to grind down the odd weld.

Yes, 413. What kind of battery life are you getting? I have a bunch of Milwaukee stuff, but as far as grinders go the DeWalt seems more versatile being 5 inch and higher RPM.

If you're looking for battery life in an 18V grinder the Makita is the best by a wide margin. It's power is comparable to the DeWalt and Milwaukee, too.

We have about 4 onsite right now and running off 5.0 batteries. We use them all day cutting angle out or grinding welds without a hiccup. I've only stalled one out once and the battery was down to 1 bar

They are okay on batteries, I usually switch em a out 2-3 times a day using em pretty hard

Well.... bought the DeWalt 413fb. The flat headed model. Can't wait. It was tough after reading about the Makita's variable speed feature. In the end, I figured that if I'm buying into a new tool system, DeWalt is far more common and I think it'd be easier to find used batteries and such. Although, the Makita may have to come in the future. Aarrgghh. I wish cost of entry was lower for the different battery systems. Batteries shouldn't have to lock you in to one tool line. I guess that's why they do kits.....

I'm happy with mine. Not too horrible on batteries and it's got plenty of power

I've had mine for about 6 months now and have used it quite a bit. It doesn't have the power of a corded grinder, but it's not weak either. It's about what I expected from a 20V grinder and it can definitely get the job done. When I just want to cut off a bolt or bracket or two it's what I'll grab because it's ready to go.
