After an extensive search, I can't locate a specific thread.

What I'm really trying to find is the post from a member who said they were out (IIRC) in CA where cordless 6 1/2 was king instead of cordless 7 1/4.

There was some great information in their post, but I can't find it anywhere.

Can anyone help me track it down or remember posting in the thread?

Thanks in advance!

I remember that comment. I do have a 6.5" cordless saw and often comment in threads about them but I just poked through the last six months of my posting history and didn't see anything.

Do you think the thread is older than that?

Well, at least I know now it was a memorable enough thread someone else knew about it.

Maybe at the edge of the 6 month frame, but yes, not too old. I remember thinking I had a few questions and wanted to go back and ask, but could never find the thread again.

Let's hope someone else sees this and remembers!

It's possible it was a worm drive vs sidewinder thread. I found one where an east vs west cost comment was made.

I'll see if that thread is cached on my laptop. Might be the same poster or might be the thread I'm remembering.

I would believe it, I can't stand my 7 1/4 Fuel. I know there's a blade in there somewhere, I just can't see it when I try to cut anything.

I just bought a 60v dewalt flexvolt and was concerned about the right sided blade but the visibility is great. The guard is open enough to clearly see the line and the blade

Love that saw, has tons of power

I am baffled by this? I was worried about visibility as for two decades I used a skill 77. I find the visibility of the cut excelent if I lean just slightly overy the saw and look down. Are you short?

The power and run time with a 9 amp battery is so good I have not used the 77 again and eventually gave it to a friend in need

I've got both M18's, left hand in some instances and right hand in others. I've used mainly right hand cut saws (although I own a Skill 77 that I occasionally use) and I don't find them a problem to use. You "learn" where the blade is going to cut after a while and the mind compensates for that.
