Anyone have experience with DMS 4 Post Lifts?

I actually found this company through craigslist but they are relatively close to my location. About 2.5 hour drive.
They seemed to competitively priced but I always like to gather as much information as possible before making a purchase.

I am looking at their 8,000 lb extra tall lift.

The other lifts I am looking at are the Bend Pak HD-9XW and Revolution RFP9 both of which I have found a lot of information on here from previous posts but I haven't located any information of DMS.

DMS isn't a manufacturer, they are a distributor. When they say "they have warehouses"...it means that they have access to the importer's warehouses in those locations.

The lifts themselves are Chinese. They are imported by "Tuxedo Distributors" http://www.tuxedodistributors.com/

The company doesn't have bad products, for the most part. They are really not professional grade equipment, though. More on par with the Atlas brand, some of BendPak's products, etc.

You won't get any real warranty out of them, beyond, we'll ship you the part, fix it yourself. Bend Pak will at least give you a labor warranty if you're lucky enough to have someone in your area.

You can buy the exact same lift on virtually anyone's website (Best Buy, Automotive Shop Equipment, etc.) and the part numbers will be virtually identical.

I've sold my share of these products, so I'm not knocking 'em too bad. It used to be a decent gig, sell the lift and even pay out of pocket to warranty the labor on many small issues. Nowadays, there's just no money left in the sale to give any sort of customer service on the product. They are sell and forget lifts. If the customer is happy at the end of the day, great..if not, well, ya' get what ya' pay for..

I know this is an old post but these people were at a car show recently I went to, advantage was on site too, I looked and both and DMS looked as good as the others but apparently their big selling point they have now is, their price INCLUDES installation! 8000lb like was a show special price of $3200 installed!!! YMMV
PS Now that the show has come and gone I can get a 9000 lb lift (http://www.tuxedodistributors.com/a...s/fp9k-dx-xlt/fp9k-dx-xlt_quick.pdf#view=FitV) installed for a lil under $4k and aren't these all chinese lifts? lets face it. https://www.dmsequipment.com/index.html

There isn't much to installing a 4 post lift. If you can jack up your car and pull wheels, you can assemble one of these.

Yes, they're all made in China. Probably all in the same factory where they paint and sticker them according to who ordered them.
