they are pretty flimsy and you find it the type of stainless that does have tarnishing/corrosion issues .
Could be okay for stationary home use or light workshop environment but beyond that it would be a buckled mess .

If they were 30" deep, and had 200 pound slides...

They'd be on to something...

Like it is...

It's a serious accident, waiting to happen...

Made by Hyxion. Also, the bottom is 16g steel.
I've been considering this very box for my garage nook and then building a 28-30" worktop over it. Thoughts?

Do not want....18" deep,I'll keep my KRL1022.
Thanks you

Yeah, but the drawer layout is so sweet. Why would you want a long drawer where you can put long items and perhaps all of your sockets or wrenches. It's much more convenient to have 60 small drawers with one or two tools in them so you can spend 20 minutes looking for your extractor set when you need it.

Hardy-har-har-har. A good garage owner knows exactly where his extractor set is
Different strokes for different folks. I personally don't own a 4ft breaker bar or 38 sets of sockets. Will be perfect for the garage since I mostly have biking tools and misc power tools and accessories.
I found a Canadian company that sells this 96" box but it's 24" deep still with wood top instead of the Hyxion 18" depth. I'm pursuing that one, too. I could buy two, bolt them back-to-back. Bam! Epic worktop space, woodworking counter, drafting station, bike platform, etc.

That is one thing that I think is overlooked. When I was looking from a box, I talked with the owner of strictly toolboxes and he recommended the box with 3 wide top drawers. All sockets in one, screwdrivers in another and pliers in another. Super convenient.

With an 18" deep cabinet; the drawers will be less than 18" deep. It is definitely a nice looking box that would be prized by many. But, I am on the list who favor deeper drawers.
