What browser are you using? I have the same problem in Firefox but it works fine in Edge, which is the standard browser using Windoze. Kind of a pain in the ****.

Internet explorer. I would be on Lowes.com 10 times a day. I went on vacation and came back and now I cant put a location in...

It appears that the closing Lowes stores will follow the same formula used for closing the OSH stores: The "Central San Jose" location being closed had big banners proclaiming 10% to 30% off of nearly everything. The crazy thing is that it did not appear as if any top shelf stock had been removed.

Nowadays it seems that a lot of websites have compatibility issues with IE.

I have not seen that and it should not be the case, IE is the standard for web browsers.

FWIW, Lowes works best with IE in my experience, and often will not allow logins with FF.

Chrome does away with the bull-horse-pucky of both IE and FF. Or at least it did 8 years ago when i switched and have never been back. Assume that's still the case today.

Just Sayin -- IE isn't the official standard anymore. Many sites need HTML5 compatible browser. Chrome, FF, and if you want to stay in the MS family, Edge Browser that ships with Win10, work. It's really personal preference at this point. There is horse-pucky in all of them!

You using a vpn or running scripts on lowes? On mobile, can you access it on cell network and not wifi?

Yes I have a script running no VPN. No script on IE. Cell network works but not when connected to WIFI. No script on Safari either, just on Chrome.

Running price checking scripts too fast is bad. Looks like they blocked your ip for hammering their server.

Sorry, just saying it IS the de facto standard. No point arguing, known fact, but whatever.

Chrome is probably the least compatible, all the "extras" Google added to capture and report personal information causes a lot of issues. FF is slow but OK, Edge may eventually get there but not yet.

Those getting "Access Denied" is due to the script. You have two options. Reset you WAN IP or wait a few days without accessing Lowe's website and you should be back in business.

So here's a new twist. I ordered 2 items for shipping a couple days ago. Lowes contacts me 3 days later and says the store I ordered from is out of stick and requests I respond if I accept a delay...normal, right? I do, saying there was plenty of inventory at the time I ordered, but I'll wait. Next day, I get another email saying that store is not an approved shipping center(?) and unless stock is found somewhere else, my order will eventually be cancelled..ok...but here's the kicker. They then say "I noticed a local store near you has inventory for pickup- you could place a new order and drive there if you want the items." The hilarious part? The store they told me to go get them at is THE EXACT STORE I ORDERED FROM ORIGINALLY. So they show stock still, but now don't want to ship them...

The online store and B&M stores are different companies, with different stock. Stock in store is not the same as stock available for shipping. So in your case, the store has stock but the website does not. When you order online, you aren't really ordering from a store, and it likely would not have been shipped from your local store anyway. Normally they would transfer the stock, essentially buy it from the store for you, but the store manager probably would not agree to the transfer.

They are really messed up on their internet orders. They sent me stuff they had already sent and keep telling me about a delay from the air sanders and drills. Who knows what is going on. They called me today to see if I still wanted the cut off tool.

Not saying you are wrong about IE & Edge... But the analytics companies that track that sort of thing seem to strongly disagree with your assessment...

Self propelled would really drain the battery. My wife had no issue pushing it around the yard. The website says its 70# which seems a little heavier than a conventional gas mower. It cuts my property fine. If the grass is a little long one battery will cut the front and half of the back. If the grass is really long it takes one battery for the front and 1 for the back. I'm really happy with it. It cuts great. I just wish I got it for $200!:wtf:

Well pulled the trigger and glad I did. A little more effort than self propelled but not bad. I cut my whole yard on one battery and still had power left.

Usage is not the same as compatibility. Usually we design for IE first, then add compatibility for other browsers. The IE interface is a known de facto standard, and other browsers usually support that standard. Being a standard does not necessarily equate to how many people use that browser.

I cut all summer with mine and have recommended it to two friends... one of whom bought one. I love mine. At $200 its worth it to buy a spare just for the batteries and charger! (A replacement 2.5ah battery is $150)

OK then, since there's no point in arguing, I won't!!

Wait a minute..... this seems to be heading in the direction of a conversation I might have with my wife.

Thanks for the dismissive, "whatever.", too. So nice and friendly!

Please, have a great day!

I haven't been to Lowe's in a while, but I'm guessing they never did any more rounds of big clearance? All the Stanley stuff still just on the shelves with red stickers?
