Good to hear! I have 3 orders from last Mon/Tue still sitting like yours were, hopefully mine will show up soon too. (Two were promised this week, the third isn't expected till the end of the month.)

Despite getting all the games played yesterday, it was a new record low for me - $0.20! :headshake

And now it takes $59 to get free home shipping!

Dang... I got that SharkSaw in my cart, I should have bought this earlier so I can get free shipping.

hmm.. I am now seriously thinking about quitting this mess. It seems that I am winning less points, the games are all messed up lately, and now we have this $59 free shipping. I have limited selection of things that I can pick up at local hometown store, so this practically ends anything that I can purchase online and shipped.

I need to stop by at local homestore and see what they have in stock. I think I have most of the stuff that they have lol.

Xtra games remain randomly broken. Refresh to fix sometimes requires multiple tries. (Sigh)

Looks like MAX members still get $35 free shipping.

Someone on SD said they're a Max member and still need $59. I think there's an FAQ page that might be inaccurate/incompletely-updated, you'd need to have a Max membership and test checking out to be sure.

Just won the $2. Should I be trying to spend the remaining $5 in my account today?
I thought I saw some rumor about a ruling on SYW for the 15th.

Did not know that freecash excludes Capri Tools. Just tried my Sweeps Weekly $10, and only regular points are being applied to this Sears Authorized Supplier. :wtf:

Sure... spend it! When I've got $5 worth of points burning a hole in my pocket, I splurge on:

Stanley Large Parts Organizer with Bonus Small Organizer - $4.88

Craftsman 12" Utility Case - $5.99

Craftsman 16-Foot Sidewinder Tape Measure - $8.49

I believe it depends on which tool, breaker bars no, hex sockets yes, as of last week.

I found the same thing last week with the craftsman sensor socket set. And that Capri set has been nice so far. I'm not a professional user, but, no complaints yet.

I could see some companies not wanting to chance Sears not coming up with the cash to pay for a tool that was paid for in points, but still want to sell through Sears, for whatever reason that could still be. Maybe they are setup to receive more direct payment now to ease their hesitations with Sears.

Was enough money really set aside for Shop Your Way offers? It's hard to believe they set aside enough, when reps will instantly put points in your account to fix issues or similar situations. Sort of seems like the Fed printing money that isn't really backed, and sort of snow-balls out of control (on top of all their other management mis-steps)

I still think in big picture SYW makes money for Sears. I think there are plenty of people who are attracted with those buy something and get points back, but these people end up forgetting to use the points. It is similar to companies who has free after rebates program (it is free if you get the rebates, otherwise you paying full price for junk you do not need).

Yeah, most of the money Sears has kept losing for years has apparently been due to the amount of unnecessary administrative overhead in their organizational structure. SYW is a drop in the bucket in comparison. There was some court paperwork filed recently that said they need to cut something like two-thirds of the management/corporate overhead. (And another round of corporate layoffs is underway this week, too little too late.)

The other big thing that set Sears up for failure was the CEO's decision to spend $6 billion on stock buybacks (a giant giveaway to investors, and artificially driving up the stock price for a few years) a decade or so ago. There was an article recently pointing out that if that money had been used instead to reduce debt and maintain/improve the stores better, the company could be in a very different situation today.

I suppose that, as well as what Hexen posted above. I guess I'm looking at it from the perspective that I don't know of any other retailer that has a rewards program such as this. If it was profitable or increased sales, others would start something similar.
I know Eddie originally wanted to be a data collection company which I think SYW may have geared towards in the beginning (all the polls & questions), but seems to have changed more towards general promotion. Obviously there's no way they become a data company now with the competition out there, I think they lost that war the day Amazon opened

Same here.... They fixed the glitch and killed my winnings. 20 cents.

I had a 20-cent day a couple days ago when the glitch was still going strong, though. ;)

I've been having good luck on the Featured Instant Wins on shopyourway.com lately. I'd say I get at least a couple of 100s every day there.

I see the leader of Win Club on Facebook has been let go of SYW

Yeah, apparently SYW is getting hit hard in the corporate layoffs today. Most of them worked in other little-used aspects of the site, though. Hopefully a skeleton crew will still keep the games running a while longer, but we'll probably be SOL if anything breaks again.

I would think the SYW games makes them decent money with all the freaking ads you have to watch...

Whereas the gift lists and email newsletters and other 'fluff' on the site probably get little, if any, traffic...

Maybe they laid off the people that change the prices on a daily basis... lol

Don’t forget we’re talking about Sears. How often have they done things that make sense when there’s another option? Sears gonna Sears!

Another new short term Extra game started today, Online Deals. Ends November 20.

My doubtfulness in that, is you can exit out of most of the ads early, and most you end up seeing multiple, multiple times. As an advertiser, I don't think I'd invest much into that, they probably don't play the games. If I was an advertiser, I know I'd be paying SYW bottom of the barrel rates.

A friend said one of the Wild Wins games today had only 100 winners now, instead of 1,000. I'm seeing confirmation of this in some places, for all the recent WW game rules.

Ouch! I was usually winning maybe two a week? So odds are that now I'd average one every 5 weeks instead, unless a whole lot of people give up. :(

Edit: It's even worse... someone on SD knew the odds were even higher on the $1-$4 games before, 1000 was only on the $5 games:

"Yeah all $1 - $5 bonus and Xtra games used to have a total of $5000 in prizes, 5000 winners for $1 games, 2500 winners for $2 games, 1667 winners for $3 games, 1250 winners for $4 games and 1000 winners for $5 games."

Many times it seems like SYW’s biggest advertisers are Sears and Amazon. Both are probably swapping ads on their sites and not leading to direct cash payments to SYW.
