Noticed several tools on sale at normal price and retail inflated by multiples.
Barbie Dolls @ Home Depot? Seriously?

It is that price today if you are talking about the 5 tool kit.

Different kits. You get 3 batteries & the multi-tool in the BF kit (this was available last year). The SBotD kit only has 2 batteries & the ratchet instead of the multi-tool.

I don't put much value into 1.5ah batteries, maybe $15. So with that, do you need a multi-tool or ratchet more?

Thought I saw the price on someone’s preview page of $250.

Regardless have things really gone up that much in a year?

I thought I saw that also, and I can't find it again now. My wife gave me the go ahead to pick up two of them but now I'm not so sure.

Really wish harbor freight still offered this same style of box that they had a couple of years back. The Yukon seemed better than the Husky. Oh well.

If it works with my m18 vacuum I’ll get one.

M18 is 1-1/4" and the Ridgid kit is 1-7/8" I believe & comes with a 2-1/2" adapter, and while I'm sure you can find an adapter, you will probably want to look for something else. You might be happier getting a couple hard tube sections to connect to the flexible tubing. Too much flexible tubing can reduce the performance.

Anytime I had several dollars in Sears rewards, I'd buy 1-1/4" hard tube extensions for my M18 vac. It made it much more useful for floor cleanup, as well as not needing a step stool for higher up jobs.

I am soooooo looking forward to the real Black Friday, that's after holidays, when every damn thing that doesn't sell goes on clearance :lol_hitti

Who's with me on this one? :D :bounce:

I gotta' admit, I did pick some of the Pro Black Friday stuff, only because I was in need of restocking on several things, especially that 12AWG Extension cord

Might pick up the Toughsystem combo if I can sneak it past the wife. I have started going to them for all my tool storage but they rarely are on sale.

FYI the 46" Husky roller cabinet was $248 this past spring (I picked up qty 3), its unclear if it will ever be that price again though.

Man I was wishing that 52" black chest was more than $100 off. Or even better if the 56" chest was on sale

Yeah, that price jump from $309 to $398 for a few weeks so they only have to mark it down to $298 is pretty cheesy. It’s still a great deal for the amount of storage, especially the depth, but I was hoping they’d get it down to $250 or so. I’m still grabbing one. Or two :)

I saw the new 61” wide Husky cabinet, but the unit is only 18” deep, which makes the drawers 16.5” deep or so. Flashy, but the 46” by 24.5” deep works better for me, especially since I have a stainless Snap-On countertop that I found on CL for $30 that will fit on it with just a little overlap!

I really like this system too but want the drawer style storage boxes so I can replace my very heavy tool box.

I was going to buy 4 Friday for a Steevo bench build, but I think I'll wait since I'm not in a hurry for it. 10.00 savings each compared to a couple weeks ago is not worth fighting a crowd. My closest store shows 90 in stock. Maybe they will get to 249.00 later when they need the space.

Do you have a link or description of the Steevo bench build?

That's what I was thinking. Most of the stores 'round Houston were showing 90+ inventory levels last week. I'm having a difficult time believing most will sell for $300/ea. Perhaps I'm that out of touch with the last year's changes??

This Husky socket set going for $129 on BF seems like an extremely solid deal for ALL THREE common drive sizes. I already ordered this as a gift for a guy who lost everything in a house fire but I'm likely going to return ($149) and buy again on BF at $129.

For someone starting from scratch a kit like this is THE FOUNDATION from which to start, then add specialty tools as needed.

I don't disagree but it's still a great deal at $300. Honestly I'm just thrilled that 24" deep boxes are becoming more mainstream. Let's relegate 18" to super cheap homeowner grade friction slide garbage.

99% of consumers would never accept 18" deep kitchen counters or even bathroom counters for that matter....

But yeah, if someone can score these at $200 or less on closeouts next year (probably Feb or Mar?).... definitely worthy of some You *****.....

Home Depot via Google Express had two 4.0Ah batteries for $49 last month. Are are the $79 batteries different from the $49 batteries, besides color and appearance difference?

No, it's even better! Normally the sale is 2 for $99, but that was before their new HP line of batteries were released, yet not widely available.

I know there were/are at least two different 4ah offerings. The most common is the one that comes in that 2-pack offering. Then last year, a 4ah with I believe better cells came with the 1/2" impact wrench bundle HD had, and had a slightly different color scheme.

Now they just released HP batteries, which I presume will replace the current offerings. Ryobi I says the HP batteries provide more power to brushless tools.
