New lockers at HD in store pickup ?

Just got my in store pick up notice says my items are in locker and they gave me a pass code never seen these at my store.

Yep, they have been rolling them out to the stores for a few months now. They must be in most now as they are showing them in commercials now.

I was just in mine a few days ago and never saw them guess i will find them today when i pick up my order.

they just redid mine, i wonder if it has those. They made the checkout far worse though, higher density and random self checkout and cashier checkout mixed

Found mine sitting out where they put the carts maybe 6ft X7ft total pretty neat little deal.

They've been rolling them out quickly in the metropolitan areas. Its not all that great though as it can get aggravating if something is not scanning or if you have to remove something from the cart. The pickup lockers is just another example of how we all are distancing ourselves more. There needs to be human-to-human interaction as well as more jobs made available. Oh well...

My last survey for a pick-up order asked if I'd used Amazon Locker or other type and asked if I'd be interested in this type of order pick-up in the future.

Pretty sure this will be available in my area soon too.

Never used any locker before, not sure I'm for or against yet.

Yeah I agree, last week I was standing waiting for my order in McDonald’s and a girl came in that must’ve placed an order on her app and she walked in grabbed her food and walked out the whole time looking at her phone.

Another time I placed a carry out order for Chinese and I walked in to a kid behind the counter that was looking at his phone with headphones in and I was standing there for a period of time and he didn’t even look up. After about 20 seconds a girl came up from the kitchen to ring me out....The whole time the stupid kid (probably 20 yo) didn’t even pick his head up from his phone to look at me

It is Sad what society is becoming

These aren’t about reducing jobs, but making it quicker and easier for people to get their stuff.
