I prolly would have held doors and window headers at the same height, at least when they are on the same wall. Yeah, workbenchs...cabinets..etc. Just buy 8'0 doors.

Nice build

Nice build

He wanted the windows high enough that people can't see in The two lower windows are in an office area without his classic cars in sight.

Thanks

Looks great. Keep us up to date on this one.

I have a question about the blocking holding up the purlins-on-edge in the picture above.

I can't tell from the picture, did you put them in on every truss?

Looks very well done. What's up with the giant post in the center?

The post in the center was in the engineering. We thought it was a little overboard.

The blocking for the purlins is on every truss. We put the blocking between the double trusses too.

WOW! How are you finishing the yellow board? I must say, out standing! The finish work looks as good as the killer framing. This structure is going to be there for a long time.

Thanks for the compliments. The lower section is going to be lap siding.

Great job from start to finish kcode. Do you happen to know what kinds of work and play your buddy will be doing in that nifty structure?

Holy deceiving look batman. I didn't realize the height of the tall portion until I saw the man door. And those windows are pretty impressive for a shop too. Once again, nice job bud

Garage doors go on next week.

Thanks again for the nice comments.

The house is nice but nothing real fancy. My friend has about 16 classic cars and he wants a nice place for them lol

If that is the shop....snap a pic of the house that goes with it. :bounce: Very nice.

After putting the windows in his ship, I decided to cut them into my unfinished walls. I have about 8 more windows to cut in.
