Hey guys, as a new member to the forum I thought it appropriate to introduce myself. My name is Jon and I am a tool addict. Hahaha... I came to the site in a search for information on vintage snap-on tool boxes and roll cabs. My grandfather was a life long mechanic and shortly before his passing he gave his collection of vintage snap-on tools ranging from the 40’s through the 80’s. I have been searching for a Snap-on kr7100 to house his tools but without much luck in that search I recently picked up this kr537, 557 combo. The boxes were made in 1980, the year of my birth, so it seems perfectly fitting to hold his tools. The combo is in really good condition considering the age and at the sticker price of $629.00 I couldn’t complain. It does have the wrong locks installed but I picked up a new pair of y1 locks and cylinders at no charge through my rep! I look forward to setting it all up and organizing my grandfathers tools in it. Anyway, I wanted to thank you all for the wealth of information in the forum, I am excited to explore some more!

We get them where I work but Ohio is a far cry from CO. Shipping wouldn't be worth it, I imagine.
