Im thinking to skip the corner worktop piece and just get the corner wall mounted cabinet and maybe an extra regular wallmount cab and then end it with the second storage locker from the kit.

If it looks weird I can always pick up the corner piece and have it fully wrap around the edge. You'd hook me up right? ;)

You could run the set into the corner and mount the second locker any where you want. It doesn't necessarily need to be connected other cabinets.

It would have been nice if you had purchased from me, but I'm here to help.

Funny thing I found out about you and this thread the day after I purchased the set online!

I'll be sure to post pics once it arrives!

NewAge is increasing prices on their cabinets on October 15th, 2018.

This month's sale prices will change and any outstanding quotes will no longer be available after October 15th. The price increase is directly related to the tariff on steel.

The good news is I'll quote your cabinet set at a 7% profit for sets over $2000 and 9% for sets that sell for under 2000 bucks. My quotes are based on the costs I'm charged from NewAge.

Price increased are never fun, but hopefully this won't sour customers on the value of the products.

New Age makes a very good product. I couldn’t find anything better looking no matter how much I wanted to spend.

What is the difference between the performance 2.0 & the bold 3.0? Which is better as I see both are the same price on the 7 piece set that I am looking at.
Thanks,
Burn Out bob

Mainly the style of cabinet. The bold cabinet doors and drawers fit into the cabinet frames. With the performance 2.0, the doors and drawers cover the cabinet frames for a cleaner look.

The bold wall cabinet doors open to the side.

The performance wall cabinets open upwards on struts.

Both are made of 24 gauge steel and are the same sizes.

NewAge had a deal with HomeDepot to sell the black cabinets. Don't know if it's still going on.

The tall upper cabinets are only coming in gray doors. Doesn't mean at some time they won't add the red and platinum.

The black cabinets are discontinued with the pro3 via HomeDepot. I really wanted them for my build but ultimately was shut down.

I love what I got but honestly wanted the black, in hindsight the performance plus 2.0 are the same gauge as the pro 3 which I knew about I just hated the racing stripe and was unaware that it was a magnetic piece that could have been removed.

Just some info for the guys that did not know about it

NewAge price increases are now in affect. The sale prices on ShopStorageCabinets are what the distributors are asked to show, net me a 9% profit. That's 90 bucks per thousand. If you spend more than $2000 I quote your cabinets at a 7% profit that's 140 bucks for a $2000 order. Even if the set is not on sale I'll sell it at these prices. Just add what you want to a quote and send it in.

If you have questions on NewAge cabinets you can post them here, email me at [email protected] or call me at 855 258-0364 between 9am and 5pm PST Monday thru Saturday.

I'm here to help.

Looking for a quote on The 50409. Looking to purchase in the next week or so!

The best way to do this is go to the website ShopStorageCabinets.com type in 50409 in the search box. Add the item to a quote and send it in. This gets me an email so I can send an invoice that you can purchase from.

Here's the product page for model 50409

50430_101_Primary01_1024x1024_6bc7f408-ff4a-444f-87a4-99aeccc6e3f0_1024x1024.jpg

The regular sale prices net me a 9% profit. If your total is over $2000 I have been bidding these at 7%. The NewAge Black Friday sale prices net me a 3% profit. When you fill out your quote please enter Black Friday and receive the additional discount.

When does the Black Friday sale start? Anytime you want to send me a quote and make your purchase from now till November 26th. Deliveries usually take between 1 and 3 weeks but please expect deliveries to be slower over the holiday period.

I'm here to help

More information on the NewAge Black Friday sale has leaked out.

Discounts are on sets only, not individual cabinets. Bold and Performance 2.0 sets will sell for 25% off the manufacture's retail price. Pro 3.0 and Performance Plus sets will sell for 20% off. That's all sets.

Go to my site ShopStorageCabinets.com. Choose what you need, then add the items to a quote. I'll return an invoice you can purchase from. Sets will be quoted at the Black Friday pricing. Individual cabinets will be quoted at the regular sale prices. Some sets that are listed on the NewAge site, aren't available to distributors. Just sets that show up on ShopStorageCabinets.com are part of this sale.

Why aren't these prices posted on my site now? Because NewAge doesn't want to start the Black Friday sale till Black Friday, the Friday after Thanksgiving. For me I'm just trying to boost my sales. If your purchasing cabinets as a Christmas present, I've been a very good boy this year. Also consider shipping in your decision. Normally delivery is between 1 and 3 weeks after purchase. NewAge will hold an order to ship for a couple of weeks, if you're not quite ready for cabinets. Of course weather and the holiday shipping season might add to the delivery estimates.

I'm ready when you are.
Thanks for supporting small business.

Hi John, do any of the sets offer the option for the taller upper cabinets?

Not yet but coming soon.

If you add the taller wall cabinets to an order, you could use the regular ones that come with the set and stack them. I know I've seen a garage on here that had the regular wall cabinets stacked. Just can't seem to find it right now.

Sorry I'm not much help.

So the Black Friday sale isn't going to have that option then. For what the cabinets will cost I can be patient.

Is there anyplace in San Diego that I can see the cabinets in person? They look great in all the pics but I have a hard time dropping 5k without seeing the actual products first. Thank you.

NewAge sells online only, there isn't a brick and mortar store that displays the cabinets.

The best thing is to find a customer in your area that has NewAge cabinets. Search for NewAge cabinets in this forum, most people have their general location.

Dittle do they have any options to make the wall cabinets free standing? I have ceiling drains on the wall and would have to build framework to space it all out 4 inches.

They come with hardware to wall mount or free stand. Mine, in the photo above, are on the supplied 2” screw in legs. Casters are optional. They bolt to each other and can also be screwed to the wall to prevent movement though they are heavy enough that they won’t tip or slide around. Obviously the upper cabinets are wall hung (they are also bolted to each other and to the lockers but I would not rely on that solely to keep them up).

What if you cut out the space you need from the wall cabinet. Hopefully you'd only have to cannibalize one. Do the drains go all the way to the floor? I mean do you have the same obstruction with the base cabinets?

I've had customer's who furred out their walls because of concrete footings or ledges below where the wood framing starts.

Yeah I’m thinking the upper ones, I’m working with a block wall. Being block I have conduit and electrical boxes and the drain from the flat roof right where I’m trying to put them. I can easily build a wood frame mounted to the block I could than mount the cabinets to. I’d almost prefer to buy some seam welded 1x1 tubing and make a frame to mount EVERYTHING to. Maybe I’m completely overthinking it hah!

Lockers are 24” deep, base cabinets 22” deep and wall cabinets 14” deep. Base cabinets are 2” out from the wall to be flush with lockers. Countertop is 24” deep and covers the space behind the base cabinets. It’s for running cords. Maybe you can do play with the spacing to compromise things.

Could you redo the roof drain as an oval pipe? With some large L brackets you could support the underside of the cabinets. Or you could put the cabinet hangers on some blocks off the block wall that would still leave passage ways for conduit. The hangers are 2” wide. If you got one into each cabinet that would be OK since they are all bolted to each other. These are so nice I just ordered some more.

I've always thought the worktops were meant to over hang in front to allow for clamping things down. Works both ways, I guess.

I've had customers cut out holes in the backs to allow access to existing outlets. I think most just bolt the cabinets to the wall. Once all the cabinets are bolted they make a stronger overall package. If you mounted the wall cabinets off the wall enough to clear the drain. Just free floating in the middle but bolted at the ends to the locker cabinets. Could that be strong enough to support the number of wall cabinets you need?

The Newage cabinet sets show base cabinets and lockers lining up. I think the instructions or brochure said the space behind is for cords. But you are right, there is no reason it can’t be done either way. Recessing the bases 2” under the top would only slightly impede top drawer access. And it would help with clamping but you can remove a drawer or two and bolt a vise to the counter top.

You answered my question without me knowing how to ask it haha. I’m using 3 cabinets and the fact I can bolt them to the side lockers is all I need. One will be full of Scott wypalls, another coffee supplies and the last undetermined but I can support them another way. I guess all I was asking was if they bolted together and to the side lockers! Thanks guys

Black Friday sale prices are on the website, no need to ask for a quote.
If your giving cabinets as a gift, allow a month to get cabinets before Christmas.
These prices are good till the first of the year.

Thanks for your support of small business.

I just got the same set delivered yesterday, but in red. So far so good. One question...where can I get longer adjustable feet? My garage has the concrete lip on the edges and I want the back of the cabinets to rest on the lip. Since the floor is sloped, the cabinets towards the front need longer feet. Thanks in advance!

Forgot to post this the other day, but the cabinets are finally in place:

44303989560_aec0851bd0_c.jpg

Sound bar arrived Sunday, TV mount should be here tomorrow and the TV should be here either tomorrow or Thursday, so I hope to finalize my entire setup here by the weekend.

This is the bold set that sed335i is installing in his garage. Almost done, still don't understand the tv in garage. I go into the garage to escape the tv.

To each, his own. Tv is for background noise. Sports games, DIY YouTube videos, etc.

I agree. I'll have a TV in my garage just to keep on "the game" while I carry out important work! :)

I have the same set as Sed but in red. Almost done installing...just waiting on longer bench tops I had to order since I had to make room for a window right in the middle. Looking great so far!
