With that being said, I think these Homak boxes are about on par with Snap On Classic series and at least the Mac boxes I've put my hands on in industry. Far superior of the US General or Husky stuff out now. I used a first series 5 drawer US General cart for about 2 years before leaving my old job and sold it before I left, it worked good but doesn't even come close to how the Homak feels. It isn't a Matco 6S or an Epiq, but I like mine a lot and would not hesitate to use it if I needed to back in an industrial shop. For a background the shop repaired commercial power plant generators, big tools, heavy parts, more things got moved by cranes than by hand.
Its how one takes care of their stuff just as much as the construction of the box. If you are a silver hand socket on impact and drag your box over train tracks with a forklift kind of guy I don't think anybody makes a box that will last for you, but if your a lube your drawer slides annually and wipe your box down weekly kind of guy its surprising how well things hold up.
