Looking to test pinion preload using a 1/4" beam torque wrench. I have a 1/2" drive 1-1/8" socket used on the pinion nut. Seems I cannot find a 1/4" female to 1/2" male socket adapter for the life of me. I see plenty of 1/2" to 3/4"....Any help?

No it won't. I have never seen a 1/4" to 1/2" adapter.
The only thing I can think of is the 1/2" socket adapters for 1/4" hex impact drivers. They work, but break if you put too much torque.

You have to plug 3/8 in between.
I don't think strength is too critical checking pinion preload.

Never heard of one either. But when I need to apply more torque I usually use these in the picture. Because they nest together they can take a lot more torque and provide a much lower profile. This is a generic picture off the internet but my set is even lower profile than that.

I've always stacked adapters for this. I tried to find a 1/4 to 1/2 inch adapter many times since the 1960's. Never have seen one. A friend with a mill can make you one.

Weld a cheap 5/16” 1/4” drive socket (~1/2” o.d.) into the drive hole of a cheap 1/2” drive 1-1/8 socket.

I do this everyday with old vettes, you need a good dial torque wrench to really see it. The beam is ok but I wouldn't rely on one. Yes I stack 1/4-3/8-1/2. The drive is 1/4, the socket is 1/2 drive. I like the short extension it creates as well. Built 100's of vette diffs like this.

I bought a Stahlwille STW410 adapter just for using to set up pinion gear preload. I can use my 1/4" drive torque-o-meter and a 1/2" drive socket and not have a bunch of slop from using more than one adaptor.

I’m pretty sure my set is by Blackhawk, but I couldn’t find it online, maybe they don’t make it anymore

Use a 3/8" drive 1-1/8 socket. Then use a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter.

If it's just a few inch pounds. I would go to HF, get 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch adapters and weld them together. problem solved.

Me, I'd find a 1/4" socket just over a 1/2" od and file or mill some flats on it till it fit in a 1/2" drive socket. Or find a piece of 1/2" square stock and a 8 point 1/2" quarter drive socket. Or file a hex on that 1/2" square stock that will fit a socket you have. Or a 1/2" square head bolt with a nut on the other end that fits a quarter drive socket you have.

Use your imagination and make something.

A 1/4" to 1/2" adapter just sounds like a bad idea. I'm glad someone with practical experience provided an example why.

No worse than the 1/2" to 1/4" adapter I have laying around. 24" breaker bar on a 3/16" nut...

I'm trying to imagine needing a 24" breaker bar for a 3/16" nut. You might want to upgrade your 1/4" ratchet. And there's nothing wrong with a 3/8" ratchet with a 1/4" adapter for difficult fasteners. But a 1/2" breaker bar for a 3/16? I think your other hand tools must be garbage.

A long 1/2” breaker bar horizontal to the nut and level, hang a 1 lb weight out 20 inches from the socket centerline??

I made my own. From 1/4 to 1/2 and from 1/4 to 3/4...used grinder, welder, an adapter, and socket.

Made for rear ends as well.
