It would be out of the store's own pocket (can't get it reimbursed by Sears) in that situation, so if you try that, I'd suggest asking for a potential purchase well above $2.

If you have purchased an item(online) using some portion of points and then returned it---how long did it take you to get your points reimbursed to your acct?? I know the party line is 7-10 business days. I just want some real world answers. I am on day 10 and have yet to see my 57.00 worth of points back in my acct.

It shouldn't take longer than the 10 weekdays (2 weeks). Try using the chat on sears.com. (It's closed late at night, will reopen in the morning.) They can often help with refunds.

I have tried using chat multiple times without any success. They claim the amt is too much to take care of.


Looks like I will be calling them instead---oh the agony!!!

For me the main problem is the Win What They Got game. If I skip it most of the WOW What a Crowd messages stop.

Sounds like it's definitely a good time to grab something cheap at Kmart if you still have a local one... a report on SD on 12/23: "I just got back from Kmart. I had some online pickups but also had several separate orders due to coupons/free, etc. Out of my 5 orders, 3 had "Holiday Mystery Awards" in this order: $5 off $15, $5 off $5 then $7 off $7. All valid - 12/24 through 12/26/18. All In-Store Only."

Remember the Masterpass $25 thing a few months ago? At the time, spending even as little as $0.01 OOP on Sears.com via Masterpass was enough to trigger the promo, but you had to wait a couple weeks for the $25 worth of points to show up. Well, they're doing it again. Someone on SD found this somewhere in the Sears site tonight. I tried to find it myself but couldn't. They say the 'learn more' link does not go anywhere useful, probably just the Masterpass homepage, with no additional fine print for the Sears offer just like last time.

When I tried it last time, Masterpass does work with SOME non-Mastercard credit/debit cards, but not all. The way it interfaces with the Sears checkout process was kind of wonky at the time, too, showing things that ended up not matching up with how the order went through in the end. But man, what a deal if it works. You have until 1/5/2019 to do it.

Arrrg! The apparently random Wow What a Crowd error messages seem to be popping up more often and the Sorry Spinner Not Available error message has joined them. Twitter spin counter on the Plaid Points game also not working correctly.

I haven’t found any work around that reduces or avoids them.

I stopped yesterday at the Sears in Southlake Mall in Merrillville, IN. Most shoppers I’ve seen in a Sears store in decades. Of course, Sears gonna Sears. They had so few cashiers working that there were long lines and customers were dumping armloads of merchandise and walking out instead of waiting in line. Meanwhile, in the Tools department The lines were very short with 3 registers open and I saw at least 4 employees wandering around straightening stuff up on shelves.

My topper was the Tools cashier who refused to allow me to ring up 2 orders to use the $7 and $10 text coupons. He said coupons were limited to one per customer per day. I tried to explain that they were different coupons and I was not trying to stack them on one order but he wouldn’t budge. Then he was surprised when I refused to go ahead with the second purchase without a coupon and told him to cancel that sale.

I had the same experience yesterday. The manager said during the previous $10 off $10 coupon, they had a few people who "so clearly abused the system, some with more than 6 coupons each," that corporate told store managers to limit one coupon per customer.

30 minutes earlier before being told that, I had already used one $10 coupon. This came up with a different cashier when I tried to use my $7 and my wife's $10. So I just used my wife's $10 and called it a day.

From a normal business standpoint, the decision makes sense. But this is Sears, and whomever made that call probably gave themselves a $3M bonus, more than all the coupons and profits combined.

I will say, though, that Sears has been very generous to me this past year (since finding out about WinIt).

Yep same here. Go to www.sears.com then you need to scroll down a bit. It is displayed as a banner.

WWW is there as of about 5:45 am Central. Not sure what time it appeared but its Official Rules List it as a new game, starting and ending today.

Another new Xtra game, Ring In 2019, started today and ends January 31, 2019, with $5,000 in total prizes.

All I won on Wed was $0.30 - 3x$0.05x2 from the 2 rounds of WWWed I managed to play, since they didn't manage to get the game running until after the time I was online in the 1st round. Played all the other games but won nothing.
