I received a pair of PWCS7CF wire strippers, 96ACF pliers, TF72 ratchet, a pocket flashlight with UV, a pocket screwdriver, a key chain bottle opener (way cool!), a portable socket battery pack to keep the tunes running in the garage, a Snap-on shirt, CM6551A pocket screwdriver set, a BF Goodrich hat, some Wipe A Shine cleaning wipes; a GearTie; a CRKT pocket knife and some CT coffee brews!

I received a vintage ball peen hammer (timely as I recently broke the handle on my favorite), a farrier's tool or nail puller and a chamfering bit for my new router along with a nice note. I've been anxiously waiting to see if you liked it.

I searched long and hard for long pattern wrenches at pawn shops and came up short, the box I figured might be good for storing your collection. It's the nicest I've seen.

The Plomb hammer I got had a busted handle. I had gotten in from a friend whose husband passed, when I saw it was Plomb I knew you had to have it. As bad as the handle was, the head is in suprisingly great shape. I had to look all over town for a handle, no one carries handles anymore!!! Luckily I found a shop that had some and they were made in the USA, this was the last octagonal handle they had.

I always try to send something MIO (made in Oklahoma) and Head Country is my favorite bbq sauce. I hadn't realized they had hotter and different flavors. So I set you up, I hope you enjoy them, it was something I thought you could take camping.

Strange thing, I was actually looking at getting that exact Milwaukee Penlight. It will be perfect to use at work along with the knife. As a Craftsman Fanboy, I love the Craftsman shirt and hat. I know I will find many uses for the Channel Locks between the garage, plumbing, and whatever needs to be gripped.

I figured I had to mix a little USA made goodies with the Gearwrench set. Hopefully they will be of use. I have multiple sets of hex wrenches and I always seem to reach for the Bondhus ones first.

My first year doing the SS. I opened my package from Romanova and I am super impressed. My favorite part being the letter that explained each gift item and the significance of them.

The gift starts out with a Lowe's gift card.

Followed by some jerky from a Texas chain store. Also a koozy from the store.

Next is a bunch of Houston police swag. I will have to share some of this with my brother who is also in law enforcement.
The kiddos love the K-9 stuffed animal.

Next a LaRue Tactical bottle opener that that is a tradition of LaRue every year to make one in a different color.

Lastly and the coolest IMHO is the old proto pliers set. What makes these so cool is they belonged to his grandfather which he also shared a touching story of his fond memories with him every summer working on projects.

Wow!!! I got some good stuff! A big thank you to Chris, you blew my mind hole!!! I got a package that was pretty heavy, which peaked my interest.
First I got some great reading materials, some classic popular science magazines. My son and I ogled over a couple. I dug deeper and there was a great plomb ratchet and a flashlight. A beer coozy and an echo dot to keep me connected. The coozY, I’m guessing is the name of my GISS’s boat. I’m an avid boater myself and it will be cherished. I love the hand written card that I received the most! This place is definitely a retreat from the real world and I love the people in this community. The carving tools are from the estate of a leather carver. The box was from a retired toy maker.

The bourbon was stolen from my wife.

I can't begin to thank you enough for the vise. I've never seen an exposed screw vise that big, and I'll be in cto ontact with you once I refinish it so you can see it. Out of curiosity, I didn't see one at a quick glance, do you perhaps know who made it? Just curious.

Thanks to my secret santa, Track Welder! My grilling results will be much improved in 2019, thanks to the awesome Thermapen grilling thermometer he sent me, along with a very nice silicone protective cover.

I'll enjoy the jerky, and the jelly beans didn't even make it to the pic.

Michael Murder was my SS. He killed it! Got a great assortment of candies and snacks as well as some cool tools. New brands to me but that is what makes it great. Hero side cutters and long needle nose cutting pliers, Nex ball handled screwdrivers, and a Tone ratchet bit set. Hero and Nex are Japanese and I think Tone is too. Very good gift. BTW, it came all the way from Korea. Thanks Michael.

Merry Christmas! All has settled down here after brunch, presents with my wife and kids, my parents stopping by, and building Lego sets! I am blown away by the generosity of my gift. Any one item would have been great, but it just kept coming! A huge thank you and a merry Christmas to my SS Dustin in ND. I was showing my parents the gift box, and my mom jokingly asked if my SS knew me personally!
Every item will absolutely be used and appreciated each time its pulled out! I may even have to re-gift a couple of knives to certain people that ALWAYS ask to use mine, haha.
So here is a list:
A mister twister electric fillet knife, 3 glowing clam brand fishing lures, a 5 pack of schrade pocket knives, penetro90 penetrating oil, odor-x car freshening spray, 2 snap on pocket screw drivers, snap on mini screwdriver set, a snap on wall mount bottle opener, a/ pair of snap on work socks, a bucket of beef & pork jerky madalions by tilamook, and a ys .60fs/fr RC plane motor.

The jerky is delicious, and my boys will have no problem helping me eat it! These are also my first pair of snap on socks, and I immediately had to try them on. I'm now hooked! I have a place for "garage art" and the bottle opener will be promtply hung up next to the rest. The fillet knife is great, and I can't wait to try the lures! The screwdrivers will get used, and used some more! I had one orange flat head mini driver that I found in a junk yard and its one of my go to drivers, and I had broken all my pocket screwdrivers! I can always use car cleaning supplies, and the plane motor is awesome! Its not something I have ever been around or tried before. I did just a little research, and it looks like that baby can scream at 15k rpm!,

I can't believe how generous my Santa was and I am very happy with this big haul of thoughtful gifts!
The Channellock Nutbuster 410 9.5 inch pliers is a mighty addition to my arsenal of tools, when I pull this weapon out I will mean business and I am sure it will get the job done.
The Klein Demolition Awl/Punch is super heavy duty, love the strike cap on the end and the heavy shank. Maybe now I'll be able to stop using my screwdrivers for....well, you know what. LOL.
I'm really excited about the Titan Offset Micro Ratchet Set, which is a Hex Bit Ratchet and a 1/4 inch ratchet. I did not have a hex bit ratchet, so this is an important addition to my toolbox. Both ratchets have an off-set handle and I can see these two ratchets becoming my go-to ratchets. And 60 teeth, too. I like my ratchets the same way I like my women, the more teeth, the better! (I sure women feel that way about men, too. LOL.)
My Secret Santa included a mysterious 4 inch adjustable wrench made by LACO, made in USA. It is used, but in excellent shape. I have never heard of LACO before, and Alloy Artifacts only lists one adjustable made by them. This is will require more investigation and it is not going to leave my desk until I find out more about this company and their tools. Thanks, I love to collect these kinds of oddball tools, it is one of my odd quirks.
In the middle of those great tools, my Secret Santa included a NY Times and Wall Street Journal best selling book, jack Straight From the Gut by Jack Welch, former CEO of General Electric Corporation. I am looking forward to reading this autobiography, Jack Welch spent 20 years building GE into one of the biggest companies on the planet. I really enjoy reading all kinds of books, which I am trying to do more of every year, and this book is going to be very interesting.
And last, but not least, there was a box of the best chocolates, See's Candy, inside the box. You know that's not going to last very long...not very long at all.
I want to thank my Secret Santa for being so considerate and generous, and for participating in the GJSS this year.
Also, a ship load of THANKS to the GJSS and Elves for making this event happen every year for 11 years. You guys and gals know what "fun" means and you make it happen for all of us.

Wow, my Secret Santa sent me some cool stuff.

I received some Matco stickers, a NAPA hat, a Harry Epstein t-shirt, an Irwin Quick-Grip clamp, gloves with grippy rubber on the palms, and a Mac 1/4" drive indexing ratchet.

The stickers will look great on my shop cabinets. I'll post pics after I put them on the cabinets. The NAPA hat goes perfectly with the Epstein shirt. I put them on as soon as I emptied the contents of the box. A man can never have too many clamps. The gloves fit well and I had just about worn out my current pair of gloves. The ratchet is a great addition to my 1/4" drive ratchet collection.

So, Here is my package by the Christmas Tree. By the time I remembered to get a picture it was a bit too surrounded by other presents as we had my wife's sister's family and her parents over for Christmas - lots of presents. I remembered again just in time before I opened it!



Why a picture of the box again?


Because when I opened it there was another box (I didn't get a pic of the wrapping paper on the 2nd box)



For a moment I thought, I hope that this isn't a present like some of those Russian nesting dolls where the boxes keep getting smaller and smaller . . .

It wasn't! I got some great American Made tools that will all come in handy. Thanks to Ducttapeman and the Silva Family.



The craftsman tape measure has nice big numbers that I need these days (so I don't HAVE to grab my glasses) AND it will standout to just past 11 ft. The resin hammer, ball peen hammer, utility knife (with extra blades), cats paw nail puller and nail sets will ALL be very handy. The channel lock pliers have already been handy as the in-law's dog got a new collar and I had to with over her tag to the new collar.

The license plate will find a place of honor over the next few weeks/months.
