I have a **** ton of these in my fab shop. For 99% of jigging and fixturing that I do they work great. They're compact, lightweight and inexpensive.

I love to geek out on huge clamps (48" and beyond), thousands of lbs clamping force and Morpads etc but for most work these are great and far less cumbersome. The main drawback of less expensive/smaller clamps is throat depth more than anything else IME
