The RHFT thread got me to thinking about the old ratchets I keep as backup. They “work” but are too valuable sentimentally to use everyday for fear of breakage or loss.

I already posted pics of the RHFT that I had and didn’t notice haha

But can you guys help me identify the others?

I’m sure the 43784 is a more modern offering. The other craftsman 3/8” on the other hand has no numbers on it, though it has an oil hole. What would be the vintage on this one do you guys think?

The huge head one, I’m not sure what that one is. The numbers are really worn, and oddly enough only showed up on camera. Naked eye, they are barely visible.

The 1/4” one, same thing. I cannot discern any markings with my naked eye, though on camera, some markings are visible. Looks as if “DEN” is visible? This one also has an oil hole. What would the vintage be?

Thanks for your help guys! None of this is for sale. They either belonged to my dad or Grampa, and shall remain in the family

The top Craftsman is a LLTD, the other Craftsman is a Moore Drop Forge
pearhead style.

Top to bottom, first 2 pics:

1. Walden Worchester
2. ~ 70s era Cman
3. ~ 50s era Cman
4. Proto

More info on each can be found on Alloy Artifacts:

Thank you!

I’ve never heard of Walden. Are they any good?

I bounce back and forth between cleaning them up or leaving as is. For now, they are in my extra tool box, so no danger of further rusting or damage...
