What is the largest JH Williams made in the USA socket set that includes mainly sockets and not all the other tools that come in their larger sets? For some reason I can only find small sets or the giant sets with the other tools. Do they have any larger socket sets like Craftsman does?

Yeah and it looks like the biggest that you can get is a 56 pc set. Then you have to piece together sets. The larger sets don’t look like they are US made. I just remember Craftsman having several hundred piece sets in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 with a large assortment of sizes. Several hundred pieces. I was just hoping that I could find a general purpose set that was already put together.

I never picked up the Craftsman nostalgia that some people have but it was cool that they offered large sets of just sockets. Nobody else seems to do that.

I’ve often wanted the exact same thing my craftsman set was pretty small especially in the 1/2 selection so i have just wanted to build on what i already have to save some money since i don’t have any complaints about the sockets and have never broken one, problem i always seem to find is trying to just add sockets isn’t the easiest thing in the world when you start to look. Sure some company’s have sockets on rails but usually there really small sets. I wish tool manufactures would realize that there is a lot of people out there that don’t need yet another ratchet or extensions to add to there already over board collection some of us just need more sockets in shallow, mid, and deep lengths at affordable package prices.

Geez no kidding. I don’t mind spending some money on it, but $1800 for 200 seems steep to me.
