About a year ago I drove over the state line to buy the only used Rotary 12,000 lb 2 post I could find anywhere. He was selling many different used lifts with different parts everywhere. At the time I didn't really know what to look for. He assured me everything was there and worked. Now I am in the process of installing it and with the missing pieces and lack of good instructions along with not knowing exactly what model I have I need some answers.

Question 1) Apparently he had pressure washed the lifts before selling them, all of the tags are gone. I am guessing it is an SPO12 model as it is not an a-symmetrical lift but other than that I can't tell. The manual states there are 500, 700, hummer, sprinter, etc variations of this lift. How would it be possible to get a model or serial number and / or a new tag if the old one is gone? Surely they would have marked it somewhere else or etched it other than the one tag.

Question 2) I noticed one of the arm restraint pins wasn't acting like the other 3. Upon further inspection it is missing the roll pin and I assume the C- clip since I can pull that pin up and out and can't the other 3. Are these parts under much stress? Since I can't find a part number or the size of that pin can I use a small cheap bolt and nut in place of the pin? Anyone know the size of the C-clip or pin I would need? Pic on amazon for reference:

Question 3) He gave me a bucket full of the arm pins / frame adapters / extensions and I just assumed everything was there. I also am not 100% sure these adapters or extensions he gave me are Rotary brand or what was supposed to come with my lift factory. The pictures I find online show similar Rotary adapters but they have 4 screw holes for rubber pads. Mine don't have pads or the holes for them. Maybe an older design I can't find a part number for anymore? I am missing one of the truck frame adapters and 3 of the longer extensions. Anyone know where to get these cheap or has anyone made their own? No way I'd pay $200+ a piece for something so simple. I'd weld a piece of round stock to a plate and rebar for the edges but then I noticed the weld on the bottom wouldn't let the adapter sit flush on the arm or extension like the factory adapters would. How did they attach those with no weld showing on the bottom?

I am sure I'll have more questions as I finish installing but this would be a big help. I am supposed to be getting the electrical hooked up to the motor today and I will snag more pictures of the lift. Definitely don't want to get under my F250 until I feel safe with this lift. Thanks guys

I'd suggest you contact Rotary....

That was the first thing I did.. they said they can't help and sent me a PDF to ID the lift which I had already read and is not any help other than telling me I might have an SPO12 which I already knew but not which variation or how old etc it is.
