The transcript email option has never once worked for me, in multiple browsers over multiple years... the chat window always vanishes when I click that button and the email never arrives.

I wonder why. It's always worked for me, using IE. When the chat ends, I click the button, get a pop up verifying the email address (the one entered to start the chat session), and then get a message that it's been sent. Then I have to close the chat box.

Do you put your email in the chat box at the beginning of the session? Maybe it's a pop-up blocker setting, but that wouldn't explain it across multiple browsers. Hmmmm. :confused:

Well I can tell you that is BS. I already got my $25 from MasterPass but my item will be ready to pick-up at local store January 11. The points took 4 or 5 days (I think 4 days) to show up in my account from order date.

Thanks because Sears doesn't make it easy at all to shop in store around here.

Early last year I had 1 local Sears and two nearby counties with a Sears and KMart each, for a total of 5 stores.

They shut down all 5 within like 8 months. Now you must go at least 50+ miles away.

I hope they give me this deal because they gave I believe two $10 off $10, 1 $15 off $15, and 1 $7 off $7 to in-store customers but basically give online customers hardly anything.

EDIT: Spoke with another customer who stated they picked up their item days ago and it still didn't trigger yet.

Also they claim there is a $10 FREECASH deal if you get a Corporate Personal Shopper but so far no $10 FREECASH or Points have shown up but SYW claimed you have to wait until your PS communicates with you, whenever that is.

You have to get an email inviting you to get $10 in points by signing up with one of the replacement Personal Shoppers... it looks like this. If you sign up without that email, you probably won't get the points.

I thought I hadn't received the email yet, but I just found it... mine came from a rewards.shopyourwayrewards.com email address at 3am this morning. It says the $10 expires in 14 days, and you have until 1/7/19 to sign up to get the points.


Wednesday expected game schedule:
12am-11:59pm CT (in 8hr intervals) 4x+ tiny WWWed Xtra (recent changes in how this game works)

Did that but myself and 2 other users did not get the $10 FREECASH even though we all went through the link in our emails.

Congrats to Bendibal! I've never won that. :)

I've been having a hard time with the Win It app not wanting to load Xtra at all today (sticks on the 'loading...' thing with the twinkling stars). Still works in the desktop browser and mobile browser, though. My app's interface doesn't look like Bendibal's, and clearly he's not having that problem today, so I guess I'll try updating it.

Update: Took half a dozen attempts to be able to sign in on the updated app, annnnd Xtra still doesn't load on it.

Thanks everyone. Hexen, I’ve been having trouble lately too. Lots of “Whoa, what a crowd.” As others have reported, and even a weird error message, within the in app screen. Some sort of code error I’m guessing, I’m not that computer savvy. I have my best success, in not getting errors, when I am on a good WiFi connection.

I don’t generally like to brag, but I won $25 in the WWW game today! It’s been a long run of $0.05-$0.15 days for weeks, so this was a true shocker.

I tried getting it but it didn't give me but I did win the $15 a few weeks ago so not bad.

So far SYW is holding steady to their must pick up claim even after I said no easy to get to stores around my area.

I think they want people to go to other stores or something as they made no mention of any of these "terms" in the ad. LoL

This seems to have resolved for now, it's loading Xtra in the app okay today so far.

Looks like the $10 personal shopper points might be taking about 24 hours to show up. Several reports on SD today that their points are showing up now if they did the signup yesterday morning. So hopefully mine will show up this evening.

I think you need to have received the email - if you can't find it (double-check by searching your email for the sender domain I posted yesterday), it might be a targeting thing. If you had not been signed up with a personal shopper in the program's previous incarnation, that might be why you weren't invited back. You could go ahead and try signing up anyway if you feel like a small gamble; it looks like https://ps.shopyourway.com is the place to start.

Just to give a MasterPass update.

You might as well not even try to contact SYW or Chat unless you want a major headache.

Seen at least 4 or 5 attempts by people and only one person got the points as "one time courtesy" after on the phone for 8 min.

Others are getting everything from the deal doesn't exist and spend $10+ on their order(s) don't qualify to begin with.

You're better off hoping it just does it automatically and seen it mentioned earlier when the deal existed, it applied in batches and was not really based of when you ordered.

Just a tip for the $10 PS program.

Try installing the "Personal Shopper by SYW" app and it will let you easily talk to your PS. (Probably can do from ps.shopyourway.com also).

It looks like SYW has it set up that after your PS communicates with you for the first time, they add your $10 for you.

Daily Play is another new game on XTRA.
No code again.
I wonder if they will do away with the codes altogether ?

I wondered that myself.

Ironic thing is, the code entry is where I won a lot of my nicer XTra prizes from.

Usually I will get like 5 cents here, 10 cents here, but a code entry will throw a $1 or it used to throw like $2.75 and other amounts.

Fewer codes = fewer posts the remaining employees have to bother to make now that the dedicated SYW sweepstakes social media guy got laid off.

The codes just give you more chances with equal odds as any other ways of playing, so you're not really missing out since these newer games have 10 chances each before any sharing/video/code chances, and previous games usually had less.

Just a tip for the $10 PS program.

Try installing the "Personal Shopper by SYW" app and it will let you easily talk to your PS. (Probably can do from ps.shopyourway.com also).

Only won 5 cents on the games today, but won $2 on the 2:00 WW. :)

Congrats, family member hit the exact same game.

Guess it's better odds or something but if I ever win a Bonus, strangely it's always the $2 ones since the odds lowered.

One day end of Nov, I won 2 of them in one day.

Strangely, I will never hit the $1's anymore, only the $2's, even though it claims the $1s have better odds.

Finally did my Masterpass order... took multiple attempts on 3 different cards, once again, before the website decided to accept one of them, not my preferred one... load of malfunctioning garbage just like last time (hopefully without the card also getting cancelled like last time because they thought who would be crazy enough to still spend money at Sears, lol).

I went with one of the few punch/chisel sets I still didn't have yet,

and had to pay about $3 OOP, via Masterpass to hopefully get that $25. Not the lowest it's been, but might be the lowest it's going to get at this point before becoming permanently unavailable, since it's out of stock for shipping.

It looks like they are processing those Masterpass points sporadically in batches just like last time... hopefully they'll do another batch soon for everybody who's been waiting this week.

I did that yesterday and installed the app this am into my iPhone. Lets see if I get my points. I did not receive the "original" email so I expect not to get any points, but I figure I have little to lose.

May as well try to take advantage before SYW disappears for good.

Aha, I found out what the real story is on those personal shopper points! You only get them when your particular shopper manually requests that they be added to your account!

So me sending the message last night asking about the points did nothing until my person signed in this morning, saw it, and then hit the right buttons. Some shoppers are more proactive, doing it when you register or when you follow them.

If you still haven't gotten your points, send another message in the Personal Shopper app specifically asking for the points from this promotion.

Thanks for the info, that's what I figured.

I mentioned it to my PS but they seemed to respond but not about the points.

For some reason my family member's PS is completely ignoring them it seems.

Don't know about now, but here's how it worked for many years:

Any SYW member (including you) could sign up to become a Personal Shopper. A PS earned 5% commission on purchases made by their clients.

To get clients, many PS would answer members questions in the SYW site's Advice section and advertise themselves. Helping a client find what they need or notifying them of deals would encourage the client to recommend the PS to other members.

The more effort a PS put in, the more clients they racked up. Of course, those who created their own blog or a website for deals were the PS with the most clients. However, how are you going to give a "personal" touch to every single client when you have thousands of them?



Now, if employees have taken over as Personal Shoppers, then I wonder if they get the same 5% commission that motivated all the former PS. :headscrat

Just another tip of you have not received the PS $10.

Looks like SYW itself is of no help as they just respond with "once you use the program you will get it".

Easier said than done when I keep seeing people reporting that their PS is not responding to them at all.

Think I will try hitting the "Change my Personal Shopper" button if need be.

Found out much more info on the new PS program.

It's a few employees at HE that are going through a list of who was emailed and did sign up with a PS.

You must have gotten the email or no points.

They are going by a list and going through everybody and I received a call from HE from an employee who added my points for me, they stated good for 2 weeks but I haven't verified the expiration yet.

Yes, my points showed up this morning (1/4) good for 2 weeks (1/18).

(The Personal Shopper points, that is. Waiting on Masterpass.)

Thanks for the info.

Not sure what to do as leery now to ask because I almost had a major account drama.

Guess the system wondered why I was inquiring about the $10 and $25 offers so close together that it locked up the account temporarily.

Called back the PS dept figuring if they could transfer me to a higher up as SYW said Corporate must do it.

To my amazement, the PS dept took a look at my account, re-verified I was to get the $10 deal, told me was false-alarm, and fixed the account. (Sure beats what SYW via email was telling me, told me account gone now and I must sign up for new account.)

They said, it appeared the system got confused why I was inquiring about two deals at once and that the system is extremely finicky. While she was fixing the account, she basically stated the system seems to get legit people caught in it and see's nothing in my account that it would need to be locked.

My wife account did not get $25 MP, I wonder if I want to spend time chatting with SYW about this.

But we both get $10 from the personal shopper deal. Points were added earlier today/last night.
