They are etched glass with a light that shines down or up through them . SWMBO has a coke one around here somewhere . They are neat but dont do much in a WELL lit room.

Those arent neon. They appear to just be box signs with a digitally printed face that has a neon look to it.

*I went and looked again, it seems misleading. They do say "neon" but then they say flourescent light when you get into the actuall product.

He should've said "neon look" still it might be nice...who knows

I know...all that glitters isn't gold...if it sounds tooo good to be true....

I would guess it's etched plastic, rather than glass, and the cut edge reflects (refracts?) light that's shot in from the side, from a fluorescent bulb.

The price is right.

i bought a titki one a month or so ago, they're okay they do look cool, but they don't produce 1/2 as much light as my neon light, and they're only litttle. mine is okay- made of etched plactic with the light positioned above, one good thing is that they're hardy and won't shatter into a million pieces if a ball or can gets thrown around. if you've got the ten bucks why not.

I think that I'll "pass" on the $10 stuff and just be content with the neon that I already have in my garage.

It is funny that he has a 99.6 positive rating. I skimmed through about three hundred of his reviews and did not find one that mentioned the signs were not neon.

Who knows, maybe they don't know any better.

The trick must be the wording "Neon Light Sign"..maybe the light is the same as would be produced by a real neon sign.

Kinda like "cheese food" or "chocolate beverage" in the supermarket

Hell, for $10, you are not out much whether it's a neon or not a neon. If you get it, and it is a true neon, then you got a heck of a deal. For $10 I'd rather have one of those lights than a cheap thin repopped sign

A bar i used to go to had a beer sign like one of those. It was sharp, but no where near neon. It was basically etched plexiglass with LEDs shining through it. The LEDs would make the edges and etching light up.

I liked it, but if you are expecting neon you will be really disappointed. that is to neon what coke is to mountain dew!
