I'm planning to head over to NAPA tomorrow. Did you receive this in an email flyer? I was not able to find it on their website. Thank you, OP!

I'm not finding anything either. Odd. I did a reverse image search without any matches. This is the closest match I could find, which was on several Indonesian and Southeast Asian web pages:

I got it in email. Clicking on it gets you the image that the OP posted above.

Here are the details from the email.. This is a recurring sale? Second Saturday of every month?

Our first Super Second Saturday of the New Year is happening tomorrow, Saturday, January 12th. This is your chance to save 20%* on all regular-priced items. Discounts apply to parts, tools, chemical, accessories, and more.

Early birds can save even more! If you get in before 9AM at participating stores, that discount jumps up to 30% off regular-priced items.

*Discounts valid only on NAPA's every day prices. O ffer is not to be used in conjunction with any coupons or sale-priced off ers. Some restrictions may apply. Maximum discount not to exceed $100. O ffer valid on the second Saturday and Sunday (applicable only to locations open on Sunday) of every month only at participating locations. See NAPA Sales Associate for more details.

Thank you. Any suggestions of what tools are worth picking up at Napa?

Just got a second email about this apparently it's only select stores not nationwide.
Dear valued NAPA customer,

It has come to our attention that a promotional email offering 20% off was mistakenly sent to your email. Unfortunately, this promotion was intended for select NAPA AUTO PARTS stores and not available nationwide. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Luckily, there's still time to "Shop, Ship & Save" at NAPAonline.com, where you'll get $15 back when you spend $135 or more on buy online ship to home orders. Discount applied automatically at checkout.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Sincerely,
Team NAPA

I called my local store and was told it was only corporate stores that are involved. Kind of disappointed because I have about $300 worth of filters and a battery I was going to buy.

Have been buying parts over the last couple days from various places. This would have made things much easier.

I can't stand Napa's website. Let me right click & open an item in a new page so I can easily compare products. It's driving me nuts

They just sent a recall email. 20 percent off at select stores only—not nationwide. NAPA needs to get their **** together—this corporate and non affiliated store division really ***** and keeps me away as a customer.

Ditto...I have a feeling if I take time to drive to our nearest store, they're just going to tell me they aren't participating. Half the time I have done a reserve online, pick-up in store and they can't find the part. Not sure what has happened to Napa, but it isn't good...

If it's approved to work online, I'll be checking out the carlyle catalog.

Its regular prices only. Wont stack with current flyer deals if that's what your aim is and Carlyle at regular prices is almost tool truck retail. The quarterly discounts are practically half off so better off buying through those.

Just stopped by the corporate owned store by me to pick up some Carlyle sockets and they were very aware of the email, said it was a mistake, but said they were going to honor it to take care of their customers. Gave me the 30% before 9am too, which was neat. FYI - Per the fine print, the max discount is $100.

The stores near me have been doing this for years. I used the 30% off this past Nov. But the stores near me will not let me buy any tools, just parts. There is a thread on this that was posted a few years ago. Like I said, this is not something new.

My local stores (Mesquite and Rockwall) have done this every second Saturday for quite some time. And they allow tools. I used the 30% discount on the long zero degree box end wrenches that weren't included in the set. Haven't been in store in a while to know if they're still doing it though.

Hmm. Thats good to know. My local stores (Mckinney and Plano) have always said no to tools and oil. Will ask again today, I need to pick up a part. Thanks for the info!

NAPA operated a regional warehouse within walking distance for 30 years. When they opened it (1969) I came to know their best salesman who years later became the general manager. Great guy, off the top of his head he could recite the 10 digit part # for something for a 1951 Studebaker and have it in stock. They closed the place 20 years ago and all I have now are some locally owned stores of which I will buy from only one. I got both the emails mentioned and was pretty disappointed like everyone else. I will have to ask the one good store if they run this "Super Second Saturday" promotion, if not is there a listing of corporate stores?
