I heard a week or two ago on SD that the new batch of corporate-employee personal shoppers are mostly recent college grads, and soon-to-be college grads on an internship. So I'm not surprised if they don't stick around long - I'd expect they'll be constantly job-hunting on the side for something with more of a future.

I still have no clue about the other $10 though as I only heard of getting $10 once when you get a Personal Shopper.

I mean I'd glady take another $10 but don't want SYW to think I purposely double dipped and mess up my account......

Still interesting how some people will on FB or other areas claim they have 10+ accounts and seem to be fine but you make one mistake like somebody adding a credit twice, you can get a locked account. LoL

It sounds like Mina is more reliable than some of the other PSes, so if she says it's okay for her to give you a second $10, I think you should be safe. If anything bad does happen, she can probably get your account fixed.

Yea, and a nice extra benefit is, she said you can message her daily for the legit "Welcome Center" sweeps code vs just using the same code over and over.

Supposedly if you win a large prize using the same one over and over they can invalidate your prize.

Though one person did get a $20 win to post using same code but think if you get the over $100 prizes, they probably will check what code you used.

Also, she seems to be based in PST while the others are based in HE HQ. Not exactly sure where her HQ is then.

Also noticed they seem to call Mina a "Concierge" while others were called "Member Service Associate" but seems both are slapped with the old PS name.

Mina is the 'Welcome Center concierge' at the one Sears store in California where they opened a special little area to sign people up for SYW a few months ago.


I've never won anything from that Welcome Center game. No wonder, the only possible prizes are $20 and $500. There's been about 300 people per day playing the game, but only about 3 $20 prizes given per day, and 1 $500 for the whole month.

Not that there isn't other bugs in the My Points area but I did find out why mine was acting even stranger than normal.

Turns out the system was adding Bonus Points from my accidental card use like the MasterPass kind that takes 12+ hours to actually show.

Then it would eventually take them away because of the refunds but even taking them away takes more hours it seems.

Seems Bonus Points used to link and be like "40 cents for your order at Kmart on 1/7/19" or whatever but now they just seem to say "Bonus Points" and give no info like the MP posting.

Waiting for a response from mine but trying to get both a Sears and KMart Item with a coupon.

Just hoping PSes can order more efficent than Chat Agents who always seem to have a tough time ordering both a Sears & KMart Item with a coupon but a user can just 1-2-3 add the items to SYW Cart and apply the coupon.

Have to do it as a single order though as the coupon is permitting doubling but if you do seperate orders the coupon won't work after one use.

EDIT: Got the reply and amazingly it seems she knew instantly that the coupons often work at both stores at once and I didn't have to explain it all like I have to do with Chat. Guess just wait now for her to place order either today or Mon.

Yes, have enough points to do OOP after applying a coupon I got.

Found out more info over at FB, appearntly you do just like Chat but better.

You simply let your PS know what items you want and then they apply points, coupons, or any price matching that needs to be done.

Turns out the biggest issue is just finding a really good responsive agent.

Found through FB, Minal Parekh, who is getting nice reviews from some of her "clients".

Seems like the only way to get Minal that I found is to keep hitting the Change PS button until you finally get her.

Having a lot of fun lately with items I normally get, already out of stock or immediately out of stock after I order them.

Just had an item I ordered yesterday go OOS but a Chat agent re-ordered me another item as used a coupon and it had free shipping on the other order.

Still don't know why they let you order an item that is clearly out of stock as the same item did it to me in the past. It's always a 50/50 chance your order will ship or cancel. One time ordered 2 and store that shipped it sent me one and a refund receipt for the other......

EDIT: Make that the entire order has canceled, now the other item randomly canceled out of stock.

I've recently seen several tools in stock by physically walking around in my local Sears that the website claims are out of stock at that location. (And I mean multiple copies in stock, not just down to the last 1, at which point the website usually intentionally turns off online ordering on that item.) So I'm not surprised it has the same problem in the other direction on some items too. Inventory is getting increasingly unreliable, it seems.

Luckily two agents corrected it by placing two new orders but it was rather frustrating.

Around 2PM EST, I get the OOS Email for first item, ask Chat if anything can be done, so they order a similar priced item and apply free shipping to it along with coupon discount.

Then around 7:30PM the other item does the same thing and second agent orders another item instead with free shipping and discount. Asked second agent if he can throw one extra item on to use up the rest of my points, he obliged.

Funny enough as both items were small electronics that are actually difficult to find on the website, probably myself and my buddy who also ordered them, we probably caused the OOS as we kept ordering them to dump points as they were decently priced compared to most KMart/Sears electronics which seem way higher than competitors.

Wow, just to give an update, they got the new PS program working nice now.

They must have just been so busy the first 2 weeks handling the $10/$15 (Guess VIP got $15), but now both Minal & Nelli seem to answer within a few hours.

Also App seems to be less buggy then when it first was released.

So it may be frustrating the delay in response, but appearntly it's worth the wait as it's basically Sears Chat with way more knowledgeable agents.

So far they've handled Price Matching, Price Protection, and Free Shipping, just 1-2-3.

Yes, unless you can really use free shipping like if you have no stores around.

There basically is no FREECASH in my experience anymore except for the Apps (not sure SMS deals work anymore like $8 off $20) anyway, so it's rare you will be in a case like that. They did figure out some way to use SAVE10 along with the order.

PS told me, they should be able to order just the same way once Feb hits and they don't count points towards shipping minimum.

Noticed that also, for some reason it's not benefiting me, but my family members it is.

One got $3 not too long ago and like 2 or 3 $4s (weekend and one WWW), and 2 $1's yesterday. The other I think got three $4s (weekend).

I think with the last batch of store closures, many have given up playing entirely.

Also with the announcement that points won't work towards shipping/delivery probably also scared many away.

Been seeing more on FB and SD saying they decided to give up on a majority if not all of the games. I thought the PS program might bring some back but doesn't look like it.
