Porter Cable 324 Mag circular saw. In my opinion the best saw ever built. Im not alone for a while they were bringing $200 used on Ebay. I've got two that are in working order and another that was dropped from a roof keeping it around for parts. I've also got a small stock of brushes and bearings I managed to find online. Hope I can keep them running until I'm ready to call it quits.

The crazy part is I didnt find out about these saws until they were already discontinued. A sub I was working with on a job had one and I fell in love with it. I managed to buy one new old stock from a hardware store in Pikeville, KY and picked another up at a pawn shop in Louisville, KY. The third one (that's been dropped) I pulled out of a construction dumpster across the street from a house I was working on in London, KY. I watched it slide off the roof and later watched the guy throw it in the dumpster.

I am sad the Porter Cable 314 saw is not made any longer. Thank god for ebay!
I am also sad porter cable tools are not what they used to be. The last couple I used were mere junk! The old stuff is worth looking for in good condition or even to recondition... they were that good.

The entire Bonney line of full polish tools. I have for the most part a set of Bonney's from that era and the only thing I never really cared for was the 1/2" ratchet was a rather crude but strong as can be and always good tool that took incredible amount of abuse from me and it still going strong

I just received my order from Wiha tools yesterday. All of these are the discontinued screwdrivers that are marked "Made in Germany". Finally, I have some decent quality screwdrivers to replace the crappy Craftsman ones that I've been using for years!

I bet this thread sold a bunch of those Dynamic Handle screwdrivers.

I know I picked up the 3.0mm slotted and PH0 (along with the sale 26-in-1 "ultra driver," just because) to see how I like them compared to traditional precision screwdrivers.

:lol_hitti you are probably right the outlet side of that website was probably scratching there head with all the recent orders. I just hope the people that are just trying them out like them as much as I do. I really do think they are great little drivers I know I have put the orginal one I posted through hell over the last 11 years and that thing hasn't even blinked, still lots of life left in it, **** it will probably outlast me.

I got a full set of the dynamic drivers many years ago and I do like them. I wish I could locate a couple #1 and #2 phillips drivers. Will keep my eyes open and share info if I find them.

I’ve been looking everywhere for this and finally found it on ebay, I think seller still has one left. Beautiful piece it’s fast become my go to bit holder (also handle has a piece on top that unscrews and holds 5 bits). I love it haha.

As shown on page of this thread, I have ph0x60, ph1x80 and the 4 pc slotted. Do they make any other phillips that you know of? Also damn you for showing the micro finish ones. I may have to acquire some now.

I get emails from the clearance every so often. The one time they have some close out pliers for just under $9. I went back a couple hours later and they were gone. Still kicking myself on that one.

Yes, they made a P2. I have one I got years ago. I wish I could locate a couple P1 and P2 dynamic drivers for extras.

Finally got the 11" Wiha nippers ... Looks nice, Made in SROV :headscrat

Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Most of their pliers are made there since they completed their factory back in 2009ish. The leadership isn't nearly as oppressive as China so Wiha can fully control their own factory (China requires joint ventures). Quality should be quite good. One of these days I want to get a few of their snap-ring pliers with the slotted tips that are also made there.

Craftsman cable operated hose clamp pliers made in France. They work really nice, sometimes better than my snap on. I did find a new one in package on Ebay not long ago.

That must have been when they were selling Facom. I purchased a couple of pliers with the Facom name at sears as they were clearing them out once

Same here, the 2 I got last week are marked Made in SROV. I have 4 more "2 of each size", ordered. I hope to get German made with the big rivet in the joint. Either way, good tools for good price.

I believe the Craftsman Professional soft handles were made by Western Forge. I have identical ones made by SK (current production) and Armstrong (only available as remaining stock from Cripe Distributing).

Wright Ten Point Sockets. I have a thing for them.

Channellock 548. It was the best slip joint on the market.

The Vaco 1900 crimper, the crimper with a cult following among lighting & stage technicians.

Also American made Xcelite, the Greenie just ain't the same.

Plumb claw hammer. No hammer balances like they do and my 12 oz has a broken claw. It no longer balances.

They actually brought it back. It was the indexable ratchets in 3/8 by snap on.

But I also miss the big dawg ratchets from Proto.

A few items I use regularly that others would like to have.
Blue-Point chain drive extension - 1/2 the size of the one Mac came out with this year.

SK wiring harness cutters

E-clip tool from the 90ies

3/8 speeder ratchets - I use the Herbrand often

Blue-Point chain link pliers - these are the best for putting roller chains together in the shop or field. The jaws are hooked and beak like to remove the clip on connector links.
