RaceRamp Oil change

It's always been a ***** to change the oil on the M6. Getting to the jack point was always near impossible even with super low profile jack, I did the wood ramp thing for some time just to get the car up a bit to get the floor jack under it so I could get my fat *** under the car. A buddy of mine picked up a set of these ramps and the approach angle and modular style made me pick up a set. Since I have given up on my dream of in ground scissor lift this will have to work for now.

I was concerned they may slide on the swisstrax but they didn't budge and this 10" height gave me enough room to work comfortably on a creeper. Super pleased with my purchase

I have a set, love them. I also have the minis for the rear wheels to level the car a bit more.

I've been using my Race Ramps for about 15 years .. the new ones are even nicer with the removable piece once car is on the ramp.

I am glad it has this feature much easier to store in one of my tall cabinets when I can take them apart. The solid bottom on this HD version makes me feel they will last forever

If you look at my photos you can see some black tape they put on to cover something, I didn't notice it until I saw this photo, its making me curious now, not so much to get up off my lazy *** while I am watching this game but close.

Call me over worried about things but on the RWD the front wheels are free to spin right ?

I would still put jackstands very close to the lift points just Incase the car rolls back due to not engaging enough hand brake or whatever reason, plus chocks on the back. assuming a manual transmission on those cars.

Do the ramps by chance stack over top each other for storage? Maybe it keeps them from sticking together like 5 gal buckets do.

I agree, this car has electronic E brake which I engaged and use chocks,

Not that I noticed, I am building a ceiling rack for a few things and these will go on it.

Found a perfect place to store them, its like my garage was designed for them. My OCD if good today.
