I have recently moved to Wisconsin To intern with a company near Sheboygan I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on swap meets or anything of similar nature to check out as I am new to the area.

Edit I am mostly looking for tools not so much automotive stuff

Jefferson has a spring and fall car show swap meet. In my opinion that is the best in the state for car parts. Iola car show is the second weekend in July and has a big swap meet, but in my opinion is not has good has Jefferson. Back to the 50s in St Paul has a swap meet that I've heard is good, but I've never been to it.

If you want a big flea market with all kinds of **** check out 7 Mile Fair.
https://www.7milefair.com/

There was a funny 7-Mile Fair story of a guy selling bottles of cleaning spray who was arrested for selling stolen goods. Turns out it was a prototype product Johnson Wax didn't even have out on the market yet. Apparently an employee spotted it.

To truly experience Wisconsin you have to go to the Friday fish fry. On Saturday go to a local bar for some Spotted Cow and a Sheboygan brat.

Before retiring my office was in Sheboygan. I highly recommend that you stop at Gosie’s Northwestern House on Union Ave. they have the best steak sandwiches! ( now I’m hungry)
Also for great hard rolls check out City Bakery, which is just down the street from a “real” hardware store- Trilling True Value. Both of them are on Michigan ave.

There is a swap meet next month a few miles from you.
https://www.wichaptermafca.com/swap-meet/

It is not real large but sometimes you can find some goodies. I find it to be more of a social event, and it breaks up the winter monotony.
In the summer there are a few large events like Jefferson and Elkhorn. (If you like Camaro’s (sic)

Ive gone to this one several times, its ok.

Aside from Jefferson, Elkhorn, and Iola shows previously mentioned, the Badger Steam and Gas show in Baraboo, WI has a nice swap meat. A real wide variety of stuff. They have 2 shows a year. One May 3-5th and August 16-18th.

What are you looking for? Automotive events?
Jefferson & Iola are the biggest.

Sheboygan has a nice car show in the fall, but no swap meet.
Appleton / Pierce park car show in July is great & they have a swap area.

If you are interested in racing, check out Road America.
There's a ton of stuff going on almost every weekend in summer

I'm in Falls, in a month or two they'll have one in Fond Du Lac at the fair grounds, check out the flea market they have on the same day. I'm on the hunt for tools and they have stuff at each. I think Manitowoc has a winter swap meet too, I check the fair grounds calendar of events for swaps & flea markets.

The Symco Shakedown had one. Symco splintered and there were competing events, one at Symco , and one at the EAA grounds in Oshkosh. Not sure of the current status, though.

Forgot to mention this show! It is called the Symco Weekender now. This is a MUST SEE show! Taking place August 9th and 10th this year. This will be the 10th year the grounds have hosted this show. The grounds that this show is hosted on is incredible! I have made it 7 out of the past 9 years. Do not believe they held a show at EAA this past year. Symco is the place to be!

Yes, 7mile has lots of everything, just don't ask where it came from! I remember a guy there selling motorcycles with no titles, telling buyers it was no problem... Interesting place, been more than a few years since I have been there. Lots of tools and similar stuff there.
