I made a post about an old vice I received from a family member. I have now finished my restoration. I have very limited tools as I am only 22 and a broke student. But I did my best for only my second restoration project. As a bonus, I added my biggest vice holding my smallest vice.

(Any info regarding the vice would also be appreciated, can't give a weight but the jaws or non-removable and 8" across)

I believe your vice is referred to a blacksmith parallel vice and looks very similar to an English vice from a company named Armitage Mousehole Forge. Wow, that would make it from the "Victorian era". There's a GJ member "fretters" that I'm sure could add more insight to your vice. Nice job on the restore!

If you get up to the Sabi Sands in the Kruger National Park, be sure to say hi to my favorite leopard, "Hosanna".

Wow. That is exactly the same vice. Thank you so much for the insight! This is a pretty special piece then.
