Good to see another industrial mechanic in here! If Armstrong did make one,it would be just another great tool from a company that I've never EVER got a lemon from!

What if the call the new ratchet "The Lemon" because the shape of the head looks like a lemon?

They could shape it like a sweet potato if they wanted to,if Armstrong makes it,it'll be a darn good ratchet!:lol_hitti Just speaking from my experiences with them,I've never had a single regret,or waranty/return.

I'm a big fan of Armstrong myself been using them for over 20 years with no problems, not sure when Danaher bought them but the quality seem to still be up there, I bought one of their new ratchets and a couple of sets of their ratcheting wrenches.

My newer ratchet next to one of my older ones:

I don't know who made their older ratchets, they are not like any other ratchet I've seen, they did have a plant right here in Chicago that made lots of tools, from what I read at their website the plant is still in operation but they also have a high tech factory down south.

I have a few of their older pre-Danaher tools, not sure about their true mfr. either. I have several of their newer ratchets, and sets of metric and standard long ratcheting wrenches, absolutely awesome. I'm also very pleased with the sets of impact sockets of theirs I have too. They also make, without a doubt, the toughest c-clamps I've ever used.
