It’s hit or miss. There are 3 stores I frequent. I’ve been able to get clearance prices matched at each of them at one time or another. I’ve also been turned down at each of them more often than not. When turned down I just smile and thank them for their time.
It doesn’t hurt to ask. I always have a picture or link of the clearance price on my phone to show them.

It looks like 1125522 went to $6.24 if you can find them. Channellock with bottle opener. Still $14.98 at McTiger area.

Damn I have to thank yall who keep this thread going, Got the $100 remington chainsaw 2 weeks ago and now running out to my dads side of town to pick up that Delta mitre saw for $67. Wife may be pissed but she wanted me to take up woodworking anyways, and I got some spring projects planned.

I cannot find the product number but the Vaughn hi vis bright green pry bars are about $2 and the hammer combo pack with smaller neon green bars is about $3
I’ll try to find the numbers.

No scissors, no flashlights, no machetes and no screwdriver. They had a similar screwdriver under the Lenox brand for regular price. I was able to get the last Craftsman 95 piece for $12. Made in China but I figured for the price why not.

As soon as I posted this the store called me and said that it was the last one but the box was torn up, she wanted to make sure I wanted it before I drove all the way out there (was really nice of her, ~40 minute drive) and that she would knock 10% off the clearance price. Well at the store the box looked like hell but I couldn't see where the saw actually got touched so with the promise I could return it I took it. Well the girl that called me said $6 off didn't seem fair so she made it an even $10 off. So I got it for $57 + tax. It seems us clearance hounds make up a good bit of the store pick up stuff, she knew how many Delta saws were in the rest of the upstate and knew about both chainsaws after I told her I drove to Sylva NC to get the Remington. On top of all that the wife was happy I jumped on the saw.

My area store has been resetting lawnmowers
and chainsaws. The displays wind up on aisle one with other clearance stuff. YMMV

How do you find free shipping on clearance items from stores out of your area? Is it luck by just randomly clicking on different stores or can you use Brickseek (or some other tool) to find the stores that offer free shipping?

I went to pick up my order after I received email saying it was ready to find out they were mistaken and didn’t have any in stock.

Happened to me today with a bunch of those Channellock 4-piece set for $6. Was all set to pick them up, and got a call saying they now can't find them..... i straight up asked them if someone just hid them for themselves and they said "no we have been looking for them for a week and they are a non stock item" :mad::mad::mad:

Does anyone have experience with either Delta Miter Saw (slider or non-slider)?

I bought the non-slider yesterday and the slider today...not sure which one I'm going to keep.

They are actually both 15 amps. I know the slider has a larger cut capacity but I also know sometimes sliders are less accurate than non-sliders depending on the quality of manufacturing. I would rather keep the slider if it's just as accurate as the non-slider. If someone that has used either saw could chime in with any feedback, I would appreciate it.
